There was no drama on that though. Everyone hated Forgg at the time + it was a BO win and it was the only way Ra could get into ro8, he lost the game, Forgg just failed and used a dumb trick, the bos were 2Rax MnM push vs 12nex, some luck that Ra got there.

The prize was a 3-month stay in Korea (expenses paid) and all the benefits of being on the Dream Team. A lot of shit came out of it. First, ElkY and Smuft sponsored the tournament without running it by their head coach first, and he didn't like the idea so the prize wasn't exactly what it was advertised (although this came to light later in chronology, just putting it out there). Then there was controversy when Assem abused to get into top 32 leaving another player out, and Smuft said "I've decided Assem is in, end of discussion" pretty much. Then there was ilnp vs. ret, where ilnp disced in game 3, and there was a bunch of shit surrounding that (apparently at that time, game points decided the winner in the event of a disconnect, but all hell broke loose). Then it was later discovered that ilnp had double the APM the entire tournament and much better hotkey usage, leading to people being like "Yo! This ain't him." Turned out, it was OversKy playing for him the entire time, and he was in on this thing because apparently ElkY and Smuft spent all the money that was supposed to be used to bring the player over and it was this elaborate scheme where ilnp would turn down the offer for Korea so that ElkY and Smuft didn't have to pay up. Basically a lot of useless bullshit, but pretty scandalous. Also iirc bwchart was released in this timeframe, probably during or slightly after increasing the evidence that ilnp(banana.milk) did not play. He went 9pool during pretty much the whole ladder wich was kinda cool.
EDIT:Didnt Asmodey play for eVERLAST in the 01 wcg qualification cause some commotion? Dont really remember this.

People listed all the big episodes already.
I would just like to add in the biggest drama that has happened in the BRAZILIAN BW community, because it was pretty hilarious.
Two guys hated each other very badly. They BS'ed each other on the internet for a long long time and finally they really met in a LAN tourney. Everybody knew something was going to happen.
The hype and the tension was building up, everybody was like OH SHIT right from the start of the tourney. Of course, these guys proceeded to meet each other on a semi-final I think. Here comes the fun part: After losing the first game, the loser ATTACKED the other dude with a CHAIR TO THE HEAD. No fucking kidding. Up to this day the term "Chair Rush" is used in the brazilian BW community. No after fight or anything, as people interfered right away. But he was disqualified, lol.
Same guy that did the "chair rush" was later, on another episode, accused of paying some guy to lose to him on purpose at some online tournament, and in the end he admited the whole thing was true. Trust me, nowadays he's not the guy with the best online reputation ever.
Adding in their names won't do much in an international community like this I guess, so I'll just leave post like this.

Win Thanks for the great story, now if something happened like that in WCG USA that would be pretty awesome, too bad that drama is only limited to online drama.

Also his tag is very distinctive (bold black) which, among other things, leads me to believe he's some thing equal to or greater that a mod. That's all I got

In the early days of progaming, when KeSPA didn't have all these crazy rules, there were some... incidents.
I know for a fact that one progamer paused a game to take a shit. I don't remember who or when or whether the game even really mattered. All that I remember is that it was funny.
There was the Boxer vs Autumn and Garimto e-Drama early on. Autumn accused Boxer of relying too much on cheesey strategies and Garimto, being friends with Autumn, took that side. Which is funny because later on Garimto also became known for the same kind of strategic play, with hidden buildings and the like.
sexsexpussyhair deserves a mention. That's the equivalent of the Janet Jackson boob drop right there. Except that it was funny. And Janet Jackson was not sexy.
...I don't remember anything else just now.
