Each team's head coach was supposed to show up for a meeting but Daniel Lee of Hexatron couldn't make it and he sent Jinnam and Jinsoo instead. KTF coach got pissed because he thought he was being ignored and said to the brothers "I will make sure you will never again play in the premere league if you come out this way" Jinnam Jinsu got pissed and wrote about it on their homepage..and it was a big controversy because at that time there was talk about how the KTF coach manipulated the players who got into the league. 10) KTF coach's baseball bat incident. KTF coach's nickname is "Bat Jung" There was talk before that the coach physically punished his players with a baseball bat when they lost. It was only a rumor until Garimto posted on the internet that the coach sometimes does this to help the players concentrate. Werid thing is the KTF coach never came to defend his position. This incident led to a whole series of fanpics and jokes like that KTF players get locked up in the basement if they loose and that if they won they get a 1 week "no-bat" prize Edit: 18) Neutral animals. It was during the proleague finals between 4u and Hanbit. Zerglee does a double lair strat and when Reach goes to scout with his probe, he fails because a neutral animal blocks the way and zerglings kills the probe. If it wasn't for the neutral animal Reach could have found out the double lair strat and prepared for the mass drops which he typed GG too. The next game on Guillotine, Reach revenges by killing every single neutral animal on the map. I remember hearing this many years ago | ||

I would just like to add in the biggest drama that has happened in the BRAZILIAN BW community, because it was pretty hilarious. Two guys hated each other very badly. They BS'ed each other on the internet for a long long time and finally they really met in a LAN tourney. Everybody knew something was going to happen. The hype and the tension was building up, everybody was like OH SHIT right from the start of the tourney. Of course, these guys proceeded to meet each other on a semi-final I think. Here comes the fun part: After losing the first game, the loser ATTACKED the other dude with a CHAIR TO THE HEAD. No fucking kidding. Up to this day the term "Chair Rush" is used in the brazilian BW community. No after fight or anything, as people interfered right away. But he was disqualified, lol. Same guy that did the "chair rush" was later, on another episode, accused of paying some guy to lose to him on purpose at some online tournament, and in the end he admited the whole thing was true. Trust me, nowadays he's not the guy with the best online reputation ever. Adding in their names won't do much in an international community like this I guess, so I'll just leave post like this. | ||

I know for a fact that one progamer paused a game to take a shit. I don't remember who or when or whether the game even really mattered. All that I remember is that it was funny. SKY 2001 OSL final - Boxer having been given a different version of a map for practice (and then losing 2:3 to Garimto) The version of Incubus that was given to Boxer for practice had a tiny island by 10:00 position where a Tank can be dropped and attack an expansion nearby. Boxer tried to do that on the first set, but on the version of Incubus that was being used during the game, the island was too small for a Tank drop. He lost the set. If you watch the game, you can tell he probably would've won if that strategy worked The implication of this drama is that since he won the next two sets, he would've won the OSL by 3:0 and had his 3rd OSL title, and which means, since Golden Mouse was created in the anticipation of Boxer winning his 3rd title at SO1 2005 OSL, it might not have existed. Then it was later discovered that ilnp had double the APM the entire tournament and much better hotkey usage, leading to people being like "Yo! This ain't him." Turned out, it was OversKy playing for him the entire time, and he was in on this thing because apparently ElkY and Smuft spent all the money that was supposed to be used to bring the player over and it was this elaborate scheme where ilnp would turn down the offer for Korea so that ElkY and Smuft didn't have to pay up. Basically a lot of useless bullshit, but pretty scandalous. my take on WDT: WDT was a tournament run by smuft/elky where the 1st place finisher would win a trip to korea to play for the amd dream team (which is today's estro). apparently at first they had to go ahead, but then later on AMD changed their minds, so smuft/elky were left with a tournament whose prize they couldnt fulfill. they got oversky to play on ilnp's account to win the tournament in order to cover it up, and completely rigged the brackets and maps in order to favor him. of course theres a little more to it than this, such as the fact that ilnp's apm changed drastically (from mid 100s to mid 300s) half way through the tournament. At one point, ret was about to eliminate ilnp from the tournament, when smuft/elky whispered ilnp intentionally disconnect then forced ret to replay a game in which he was killing a unitless ilnp's empty main and natural or they would disqualify him. A different player logged into ilnp's account for the last game. testie still claims to this day that it was progamer plus a maphack (highly ironic at the time) playing the tournament. "ilnp" wouldn't respond to anything said to him without a lengthy delay, and at one point was forced to take a photo of himself in front of the battlenet channel. he logged off and on before doing this. From memory there was also some ridiculous 4pool mind reading defense, which lead to the testie hack accusations people didn't buy ilnp winning for a second, and everybody was accusing ilnp for having a progamer (at the time it was thought to be jinnam or chojja) play for him. it was later confirmed to be oversky by rekrul in one of his gossip threads | ||

Yellow beating Bisu was probably the most amazing thing to happen in Pro-SC in the last 2 years, especially thanks to the crowd getting so pumped before the game even started. I think noone mentionned it already, the OSL semi between Boxer and Elky, when Boxer used allied mines, a forbidden trick in 1st game. Boxer said "sorry i didn't know the rule" OSL said "let's replay the game then" It caused some drama about the rule in itself and the decision they took. I remember people saying "Boxer did it on purpose" and that sort of stuff... I still don't get how Boxer managed to get the replay instead of the loss for breaking the rules. It shows his influence on the pro scene in old days. | ||

I assume it was a round robin situation in which Yellow was first, Boxer was second and Doggi was third. By throwing a game to Doggi he could put Boxer into third so he wouldn't advance.
