Much: "I am only thinking about how I should work harder in the future."

"I am working hard to improve my late-game play."
CJ's eldest player, Much, defeated eSTRO's hyvaa. It has been a long time since his last Proleague win, with his last win being the win over ACE's YellOw, held on the 13th of April, and today, he recorded his 12th win of the season.
The following is the interview with Much.
- It has been a while since your last Proleague win.
▲ I am only thinking about how I should work harder in the future. It has been some time since my last win, so I'm happy.
- You played the first match of Shades of Twilight. Your thoughts?
▲ The way the map is designed fits my style. I just played hard. There are maps where I feel good about just by looking at them, and Shades of Twilight is one of them.
- Your finish wasn't so clean.
▲ I didn't know this before, but I realised that my gameplay late-game is bad not so long ago. I am working hard to improve my late-game play.
- How would you rate your game today?
▲ Honestly, it wasn't a very clean match. I don't like it. I believe I have to quickly return as a player playing non-messy games.
- Did you make a vow at the start of Round 5 to make sure you get into the Grand Finals?
▲ The coaching staff gave a lot of advice and support. They told us at the start of Round 5 to work hard together.
- There have been a lot of interest regarding CJ's older players.
▲ Everyone plays really well. That is why the younger players play well too. And somehow, like how water flows, (the senior players) got pushed aside (laugh). Now, there is only us to play well, so we are more at ease (laugh). Everyone is working really hard.
- You are also playing in the next match against WeMade FOX.
▲ In the past, when I wasn't in the line up, that'll be weird, but nowadays, whenever I get sent out, it becomes news. I am a progamer who speaks with my results, so I cannot be upset by such things. I will work hard for the next match as well, so please look forward to me.
- Any final words?
▲ While I was practicing yesterday, I found something I had to work on, so before I slept, I requested Devil and MIsO_Lt to wash up at 8.40am and get ready by 9am (laugh). But they really did it. They helped me with practice as though it was their own, so I want to say I am very thankful towards them.

Effort: "I managed to win because of the guidance of my coaching staffs."
"It's only the start of Round 5 but I won and so did my team, so I am happy."
"It's only the start of Round 5 but I won and so did my team, so I am happy."
CJ's EffOrt, who has been slowly gaining reputation as one of CJ's ace players, managed to score two wins today, defeating eSTRO's SangHo in Set 4 played on Neo Medusa, and hyvaa in Set 5, played on Heartbreak Ridge consecutively. He single-handedly brought the match to the ace match and won the match, recording his 27th win of the season and bringing CJ to the 2nd rank.
The following is the interview with Effort.
- Your thoughts on scoring 2 wins in a day and leading your team to victory?
▲ It's only the start of Round 5 but I won and so did my team, so I am happy. Before the ace match, my coaches gave me a lot of advice. And because of that, I was able to win in the ace match.
- What did the coaching staff advice you on?
▲ They told me not to be burdened, and to play hard as though my opponent was Jaedong. I think that helped. I think my games turn out better when I face top-class players. I think that's why my coaches gave me such an advice.
- You displayed non-stop drops in the 4th set.
▲ To be honest, I didn't do drops often in the past. That is why I prepared a strategy that revolved around drops this time round.
- Did the drops turn out better than practice?
▲ As I practiced this a lot, my practice partners ended up not falling for it easily. I think my opponent was too nervous, because my drop plays turned out much better (than practice) (laugh).
- Did you anticipate Hyvaa to play in the ace match?
▲ If it wasn't going to be Hyvaa, then I expected a Terran player. But somehow, I felt that Hyvaa would be sent out, so I practiced ZvZ a little bit more.
- You spawned Zerglings without any pressure.
▲ When I saw with my overlord, he went 9 overpool instead of 9 pool. That is why I slowly spawned my Zerglings without any pressure.
- You must be aiming for the Grand Finals.
▲ My teammates and I are working very hard. We are working hard so our chances of getting into the Grand Finals would be much higher.
- Any final words?
▲ I am thankful to everyone who helped with practice. Thanks to my coaches' advice, I was able to win the ace match. I want to say thanks to them.
