Joke is old and was never funny in the first place. All it does is make me have to click a few extra buttons to quote you and read it from the quote box instead of clicking the spoiler tag.

It took three years for a large team to churn out and they constantly updated it. Blows the original game out of the water (& all the other total wars) and is by far the best turn based strategy game I've seen. As for my recommendation, Freelancer and Star War Knights of the Old Republic 1 and 2 (the first is better imo...mostly because the story is actually complete. Although there is a mod somewhere around on the internet where some guys were able to find a bunch of hidden files and completed the dialogue/movie sequences so that the ending of the second game actually makes sense). I'm fairly sure all three games will work on your computer as I played all three on a fairly shitty laptop.

I mean it might've been good at the time when it came out but when I played it for the first time a few months ago it felt like I was playing a mediocre flash game at best. I don't see how it can still be considered a great game for those who aren't hit by nostalgia.
