Last week, the GOM classic showed us how a zerg (by.hero) could lose a massive advantage due primarily to one of Goojila's Dark Templar. We saw how losing 39 Drones, 9 Overlords, 25 Mutalisks and an assortment of other units to BaBy's Wraith harass could lead to a win for Modesty. We also observed another long game on God's Garden, where BackHo, for a time, successfully used probes to intimidate July's Ultra/ling army. If GOM's most recent games are any indication, the rest of Round of 32 is going to be pretty fun to watch!
...Oh yeah, and Hwasin destroyed 815.

Index versus sKyHigh should fall in sKyHigh's favor. Sure, Index beat firebathero in the Round of 64, but FBH has never been very good versus Protoss and he was slumping pretty hard in the four months leading up to those games. sKyHigh, on the other hand, has never shown better results than he is right now. sKyHigh's worst match up, historically, is TvP, but I don't expect Index to be the Protoss to expose that weakness.
I don't mind the occasional TvT-- sometimes they're really fun to watch-- but I'm not looking forward to MVP vs Shine. MVP, of course, earned his spot in the Round of 32 by eliminating Stork, but that accomplishment is fairly misleading. MVP is bad, and he knows he's bad, which is why he proxy raxed in the deciding game 3 versus Stork. He did what he needed to do to win, but I don't expect that sort of play to get him very far in this tournament. Shine should beat him in two quick 45 minute TvTs.
I want Berserker to take his series versus Stats. I really do! The man is part one of a two-part-formula that made up my favorite series ever (ShinHan's 3rd OSL, Semi-Finals). But as much as I want to, I can't call this for Berserker. Stats has shown some recent promise, particularly in PvT, and I can't honestly say Berserker has been anything but inconsistent versus Protoss. Sometimes he shows brilliant play, other times he just can't hold it together. Which Berserker shows up will decide the outcome of this series.
Finally, the game of the night! Flash versus Reach! Sorry Mantoss fans, I'd like to be diplomatic about this, but there's a reason I'm not a politician.... Flash is not slumping as hard as everyone thinks he is and he should manage to take out Reach without too much trouble. If I'm wrong, I'll be pleasantly surprised, but I don't see it happening.
