I haven't really had the chance to get together with my entire family for dinner for the past few months because of my service in the military. We would really go on talking so much about our day and laugh over silly things over the dinner table.
Now that I do have a little opportunity to do it with them again, I just find that my parents work hard. Too hard in fact. I kinda feel fucked up about being in the army most of the time but its shocking how my mum and dad can smile at me asking me how my day was even though they've got so much on their minds and work lives with the many huge problems that they've yet to solve.
We got home just a few hours ago and mum just jumped straight to doing the household chores. I really try to help her but she denies any assistance. Sometimes I really wish that there was more that I would do.
You know, it doesn't have to be mother or father's day to say this but I love you mum and dad, always. Thanks for making our lives so much more comfortable.

It's good to hear your parents are still together, hehe. Also I think if your parents are hardworking people, let them work. Sometimes it brings a nice feeling of accomplishment, especially since you're out on your own doing your own thing.
Do you have siblings?

This blog gives me a warm fuzzy feeling :3
It's great to know that people are always there for you.

Yes bro, appreciate them more. I kinda realised it even more when I enlisted heh. Army ain't that bad actually. Don't let the negative things that others tell you affect your experience because you never know that some day when you are lamenting, something great happens. Why be sad at that moment when you could have enjoyed that special something. That's what I learnt.

Ahh I see, but BMT is going to be tough right haha

Actually no lol. Quite fun actually. Once you get to know your buddies well and make friends, its not that bad. Granted not like CV life but still quite fun. I miss BMT days lol.
