Sup.
CBF formatting a proper post so i'm putting it here instead of BW section.
Whenever I watch replays with other people, AND Iccup antihack launcher is on. I lag. I'm fine in games with any number of people. Replays are fien when i'm on my own. Replays are fine when antihack is turned off (by me or another person).
When me + at least 1 other are in a replay and all have AH on, it lags. Quite unbearable to watch reps in.
Toggling cpu throttling does not affect the lag. Higher replay speeds (x2, x4, x8) affect the lag. Higher speed = more lag.
Wondering if anybody else has experienced this / has any knowledge on how to fix this. It's so gay when friends watch rep and i'm jst all like "yea....i'll wait in channel".
P.S. I'm using windows vista, Lan latency is always on, machine specs are low. =\ (embarassingly low).
I've had this problem since i reinstalled last season, and before that..i've never used lan latency with iccup launcher. (and never experienced rep lag for that matter).
Again, cheers yo.

I've had this problem but haven't tested it as thoroughly as you. I could 1v1 my friend fine but watching the replay after lagged a lot, never though about AH being the cause obviously. One thing I know happened at least last season was watching a replay could count as a game. My friend was C- I made new D account showed him rep and got +192 or whatever it is haha he was pissed off...... Could they be related :O?

why dont you ask on iccup support forum?

Why don't you.
EDIT: Right, because its my problem.

turn off antihack whenever you want to watch reps on iccup.
If 1 person turns it off the lag will be gone. It is the same for everybody.

That's not convenient though.
Because sometimes I will game with friends, then be like "oh..lets watch rep". Or Someone will say "hey check otu this rep". I don't exactly want to have to close bw, launch again, watch rep, clsoe again, launch again before I can start gaming again.
=\
It's just a convenience thing, but seriously. It does take quite a long time to keep launching/closing.

I was just pointing out that it is a fact of iccup not that I enjoy it!

Does enabling/disabling cpu throttle affect the lag in any way?
|
Nope. The second one player doesn't have antihack on, everything is perfect.
Edit: I did try that though

Nope, not at all.

Its because of LAN Latency if you turn that off the lag will disapear, I also had this problem.
If you turn AH off LAN latency also goes off automatically

yeah i have the same problem but i just put it on extra high latency inside the rep and it fixes it.

If you turn AH off LAN latency also goes off automatically Yes, this is what I do as well. Replays start to lag/stutter when you set the speed higher than 2x. It also happens if you try to watch replay with chaoslauncher+latencychanger.

We had a 56k friend who lags with lan latency on replays. Do you have bad internet? Turn off AH for replays is only fix if thats the problem.
