I agree it's imbalanced. But that's not my point. The way I see it a champion just doesn't act this way. The champion, the player to be Bonjwa fights through all that is thrown at him, tears the opposition apart, makes them enter the player booth almost sure they've already lost, regardless of map or matchup or opponents. That's a bonjwa. A guy whose whole attitude screams "I'm a raping you on this imbalanced for me map just to show you who's the bitch" is a bonjwa... I dunno. I like a champion who says it like it is. The map in imbalanced, so he points it out. He's not gonna ignore it and nod when people want to know why he lost and let the fans/antifans come to their own conclusions. I don't like a champion who plays politics and keeps his mouth quiet even if it speaks the truth just to look noble. It's just my idea of a champion anyways.

I'm pretty sure Bisu has also said in the Taek Bang interviews that, during the "Golden Age of Protoss," maps favored protoss which allowed them to gain more wins. And I believe it was Bisu himself who predicted that the age of protoss would end when the maps shifted away from Protoss favor.
Anti fans are quick to point out his statement about maps favoring non protoss, but he also has made statements about maps favoring protoss just the same.

The 'ideal champion' of you guys is just BORING.

Every time I see a bunch of Bisu fanboys and haters fight for who's next Bonjwa, it's hilarious to me. I don't really care about the Bonjwa thing. I'm not pretending.
Bisu is the one who pulled me back to the progaming scene. For me, he stands for the showmanship, the most entertaining games and the gold age of human being. I've seen too many great players up and down then progaming becomes simple entertainment for me. He's the one whose victories make me happy, that's more than enough.

You might say that after Savior owning everyone on RLT and Longinus 2, and Flash owning everyone on Katrina (and maybe Medusa), Bisu has a lot to live up too.

does anyone have the raw source (korean) of the interview bisu said that in? I remember watching that game and reading the thread and don't remember him saying something so soreloser-like.
That was a really good read btw. I can especially relate because I'm a pathetic bisu fanboy as well =)

Well, Bisu is my favorite protoss player too. When I played protoss, I learnt a lot from his replays. I think, his multitask and harassing ability is why he is the best.
I remember, my first impression of him was a replay, Bisu[shield] vs Nal_keke on Neo Forte. I dropped my jaws, because I simply didn't know why the zerg quit. Bisu was bottom right, zerg up left. Bisu opened with fast expand into speed zealot build and taking the only mineral. Meanwhile Nal_keke tried keeping the upper hand in macro, while pumping constant mass hydralisk. It was a never ending battle at the edge of Bisu's new, building only mineral expo. And, the zerg quit. I was watching the rep at fastest, or 2x, and I didn't understand it. After I rewatched the replay carefully, while the big battle lasted, he controlled a DT through the streaming hydralisks, sneaked into the zerg base, and killed every single drone off from all the 3 bases of nal_keke. Meanwhile he microed and macroed pretty much perfectly.
This is his signature, he does pretty much everything almost perfectly while doing more tasks at the same time than his opponent.

Bisu is my favorite cause he's HOT! ;p

Regardless of what anti-fans say (myself included, I hate Bisu), he is really really really fucking good. He is an incredible player and deserves every bit of credit he gets.

Tears of the Moon is fucking broken ZvP...sorry. Every starleague season, there's a map that shafts a race in at least one MU. It was zerg the last two with Tiamat, the most ridiculous map ever (TvZ 100%????) and Plasma (zerg graveyard, tho it was possible to win...GGplay vs Flash). Now it's protoss's turn.

Get over yourself, whether you respect him or not has nothing to do with him becoming bonjwa or not. If your appreciation for a player's game goes down the drain after a loss on an imbalanced map and a subsequent frustrated response, you can look elsewhere for an SC idol. Results are results, regardless of him being bm or gm. No one judges character when classifying a bonjwa, they judge their dominance and success. Oov was BM for a while. Boxer bunker rushed 3 games in a row, in a finals, against his greatest rival. Is this not worse than blaming an 11-2 map for Bisu's loss? Jesus.

This. Also, I`ve always found most of his games to be kinda boring. Obviously there are exceptions. Just my opinion.

Exactly, I also recently got this feeling when watching Leta play on Tau Cross in this thread.

Explanation why there are so many fanboys it's because Bisu has the face of an actor in Korea (gay mode) and the skill of a GOD.
Nuff Said..
