F91 definitely had some interesting builds (queens nest before lurkers aspect finished? 400 mins in the 16/18 supply zone?), but that made the game interesting (can definitely see where most people are coming from, when they said F91's basics aren't as good). A great series, but hoped to see IdrA mixing it up a bit more than he did.

For everyone flaming IdrA... leave that to F91, he's the one that was on the receiving end of the talk.

I honestly don't know what all the hype is about Idra, he's really not that good... and this series simply just proved that. Yeah he's in korea, yea he's on a pro gaming team, but so what, obviously if makes as many little mistakes as he did last night, he's nowhere near pro gamer level without being able to have the consistency of one. There's no excuse.. I mean, 4-0... and it wasn't like his idea/strategy was bad, aside from game 4 where his vulture rush got rolled, I mean he just made a lot of pretty bad mistakes in the series. I don't know what he was thinking w/ that vulture rush, but pretty bad. Also, on Chu Pun Ryung or w/e, I don't understand why he doesn't scout better and prepare against mid-game attacks rather than assume his opponent is going to play standard like most koreans (even though he's chinese). I don't understand why on Andro he doesn't proxy which would've been quite effective, vs. a standard open. He just didn't throw in variations enough, and when he did.. he got rolled because his micro/control was sooo bad.

Oh well, this is why Terran US can't play in Korea -.-. Nony we need you BACKKK!!!

I don't know Idra personally, but I quite often don't like his online behavior. Although I am sometimes suprised that he seems to have some good insights and quite ok arguments even though he is overdoing it regularly...

Apart from that I think that this series really is a tragedy, a personal tragedy.
I don't know if Idra will ever recover from that which might be harder than most may think.

I believe that mechanically Idra is a very talented player and that he would have what it takes to become a progamer in this regard. And it is his dream to become a progamer.

Unfortunately, he seems to have a HUGE mental problem of choking when it counts (not only this series, but also WCG USA and others).

This is is really really hard to overcome as it lies deep inside one's subconscious mind. He has to work on it immediately or reevaluate his priorities sooner than later.

I feel sorry for him as I guess that progaming is his dream and that he wants to prove many ppl (friends, TLers, father etc) that it was the right decision to go to Korea. But unfortunately the more he wants to the more it seems to backfire on him...:-(
