Yeah, it's very tedious to do the experiments myself. Now I don't have to anymore.

If you are not familiar with logic symbols, you can learn them pretty fast with just 2 books. Should first read: Symbolic Logic by Irving M. Copi Then: Axiomatic Set Theory by Patrick Suppes They both can be purchased at less then 10 dollar at amazon.com

I'll be using these extensively Here's a site (from ahrara_ in the gaza thread) on international affairs, for those interested. Thought it might be a good addition to the OP. http://www.cfr.org/index.html ya i was just about to post that. their backgrounders, in particular, are very useful. also, probably the single most comprehensive source for current events and economics news/general information is the economist @ economist.com

Another Great Math resource http://blog.wired.com/ Wired Blogs are just informative and plain amazing. I <3 the Science blog. http://www.youtube.com/user/uchannel If you are interested in World Issues and Poli Sci look at this. The channel is shared by Columbia, Middlebury and UT Austin. http://www.gutenberg.org/wiki/Main_Page Great project with tons of potential, here you can download unlicensed books for free, I cant believe I forgot about this. http://www.howstuffworks.com/ This is basically a smaller scaled wikipedia for those who cannot read technical information and scientific info, its basically a toned down professional writing Wikipedia. http://www.youtube.com/user/DiscoveryNetworks Found this while looking at Wired, Discovery's Youtube channel, pretty nice. http://www.good-tutorials.com/ Great Tutorials for Design programs. Edit: Btw for the Indian institute of technology thing, you should be able to handle the accent first, then watch. Torrent websites like Demonoid are just plain great for finding documentaries, just go Movie>Documentary or TV>Documentary and you'll find any documentary you want, also you can find a shitload of ebooks. Google Video works great too for finding documentaries.

I actually saw something somewhere demonstrating that the blendtec blenders aren't nearly as top of the line as they would lead you to believe. It's still probably top ten though.

http://www.youtube.com/user/khanacademy Wow, the above link is so good for learning math. The guy in the video is way better than all the previous teachers I ever had. And much better then the videos from MIT or Stanford, which seems to be less informative and direct and takes for ever.
