Boxer departs from the Air Force in December
Lim Yo Hwan (임요환) aka Boxer will be given his last vacation while on the Air Force ACE team, which runs from December 4th to the 11th. While he is the most recognized face in the Air Force, he was actually the 4th pro gamer to enlist.
It’s been 2 years or so since Boxer joined the Air Force, having left the SKT1 team which he basically created, he will be discharged from the Air Force on December 21st and then have a sit down with the SK Telecom T1 front office to talk about him returning to the roster. His contract with SKT1 officially ends in 2010, so there shouldn’t be much of a problem for him to go back to the team.
Last but not least, Boxers final game for the Air Force ACE team will be played on December 16th against MBC Hero. Since it’s his last game for the team, he prepared something special for his fans.

So far the Emperor have played amazing during his time in the army. He has lockdowned arbiters and carriers, he has nuked nexuses and hatcheries, he popularized the valkyrie, he has shown how a mind game is played by planning the game from start to finish, he has owned the maestro with mass goliath, defeated Flash, Nada, Bisu, Savior and many other top progamers. Boxer winrate has been close to 50%, with close to no practice whatsoever.

Lim Yo Hwan. It doesn't matter how many games you win or lose. You were the biggest progamer and you will forever be. Forever you will be remembered...
As a legend of E-sports.

man, the shot at 5:10 in that video is such a stark contrast to the reactions that ACE has during their games right now, the current state of ACE is sorta depressing. Nevertheless BoxeR getting out of the military and his special plans for his last game in ACE are great pick-me-ups. Can't wait for the 16th to roll around!

Take many pics of Boxer for us!

maybe he's been "pretending" to not be so good all this time, and then he'll show his "true power" to his fans again for this special occasion.

so soon, time flies by...

Let's hope he doesn't get 5pooled. I'm pretty curious about this little thing he says he has prepared for his fans. I'm guessing he prepared some kind of spectacular early rush or some crazy shit like he did with YellOw when he flew up his cc to the back nat. So let's just hope he doesn't get 5pooled or something.

wow I'm totally psyched about this 'special' thing he's gonna do for the fans. There's always something to be excited about around here, these days.

I believe that ACE as a whole isn't depressing at all. The fact that these gamers can keep hold of their passion as opposed to completely disappearing and being forgotten is AWESOME. Who cares if they lose everygame, at least they still get to compete in what they love. =) NOT TO MENTION, Casy/Reach/Anytime!? If anything ACE is cooler than ever now!
