So I've been into metal for a while already but never bothered to learn what they really are. With this I mean like, their subgenres. I just noticed that there is something called thrash metal, black metal, speed metal, etc (yes I know I'm a dumbass XD) and would like to learn what is that. However, I'm finding difficult to just surf on the web and type those names and get some retarded or confusing crap. So I'll ask the experts here to maybe tell me a little explanation of what each subgenre is and probably post one of your favorite songs that relate to it (requirement is: it's got to be badass!) Thanks =)

True.
However, all you need to know is that Metallica is thrash metal; Iron Maiden and Black Sabbath is heavy metal; Venom, Bathory and some other bands are black metal and everything else are sub-genres and somehow inspired by the aforementioned.
My two cents anyway.

Alright, them I'll have to narrow down my question a little bit more XDDD (holy fuck!)
First one is nu(new)-metal and is, with right, considered gay and awful. Second one is some sort of death/doom metal or grindcore even. The last one sounds like a slower type of thrash metal.. dunno.
Try some Obituary if you like Death Metal. Other stuff includes Cannibal Corpse, Death, Morbid Angel, Malevolent Creation, Autopsy, Pestilence. Death metal splits into a softer melodic death which includes Dark Tranquility and OLDER In Flames. Technical/Progressive Death Metal is another split that includes Atheist, Necrophagist, Nile, and Opeth.
Obituary- Slowly we Rot
Thrash metal includes the early work of the most popular metal band of all time, Metallica, but it was before the black album. Better thrash comes off with stuff like Megadeth, Sacred Reich, Artillery, Testament, Overkill, Slayer, Sodom, Kreator, Destruction, and there's some weird stuff like Merciless which is Death/Thrash.
Newer stuff can be like Trivium which is like metalcore thrash.
Be careful with thrash though, because most bands have albums that aren't considered Thrash. the best example is probably Metallica with Load, Reload, St. Anger, and the black album.
I like that type of metal that has extremely deep (EXTREMELY) bass/guitars/etc pretty much like in the second link I posted above. Is that considered death metal? Post more like this! :D
For me best is classic heavy metal (like Black Sabbath) and every form of good black metal (and I mean first and second way - no gay Dimmu Borgir and Cradle Of Filth).
Heavy: Black Sabbath - Paranoid, Iron Man, Sabbath Bloody Sabbath and many more. AC/DC - Highway To Hell, Back In Black
Black: Mercyful Fate - Evil King Diamond - Sleepless Nights Venom - In League With Satan, Black Metal, Welcome To Hell Bathory - One Rode To Asa Bay, Raise The Dead Gorgoroth - Incipit Satan, A World To Win MayheM - Freezing Moon Burzum - Dunkelheit, War, Lost Wisdom Darkthrone - Transilvanian Hunger Immortal - Sons Of Northern Darkness, In My Kingdom Cold
All songs above are totally badass. These are only few examples of how good classical heavy metal/black metal really is. There are a lot more. I suggest for you to start from Gorgoroth - A World To Win. Then try rest. <3 Black Metal. FTW.
There are two great things in black metal. Euronymous said something like that: in black metal you have best music quality and most interesting personalities. And this is definitely true. Musically this is like tremolo picking, fast drumms sections and specific kind of singing (with satanic lyrics). But this is not like golden rule that everyone must follow. There are black metal bands that have standard "clean" vocal, especially in first wave (King Diamond, Venom) and there are bands with standard slow drums and even heavy-metal like riffs. This must be evil, atmospherical - musical form is pretty much dependant on artist. Tremolo picking etc. are just commonly used.
