I was feel angry today, so I decided to go and make something where I could get my hands busy and squeezing.... CHEEEEEESE CAKE.
Todays kitchen concoction is almost as easy as last times, but not quite. Anyone should still be able to do this, and you probably will need to go out and get certain ingredients for this.
Ingredients
1 cup flour
5 tablespoons sugar
1 package of Vanilla Sugar
1/2 Teaspoon baking powder
4 eggs
1/4 cup butter
2 8oz packages of philidelphia creme cheese
1 can eagle brand milk
1/4 teaspoon salt
Fresh strawberries
MPK Foods glaze mix
Mmmmm, strawberries....
I didn't have the MPK glaze mix from the recipe I have written down, but this should be just as good I hope
Okay, the night before you decide to make this, you're going to want to leave your Phil Creme Cheese out to soften... This will just make it easier to work with. Same thing if your strawberries are frozen... bring them out to defrost.
On the day you begin cooking, you're going to need to make the bottom of the cheese cake first. To do this, you put flour, sugar, vanilla sugar, baking powder, an egg, and butter all in a bowl, and mix that up by hand. Ideally, you'll be able to get a ball that kinda sticks together. After you do that, you press it into your bowl, pretty thinly, putting the edges up just a bit. This is what you're going to be pouring the good stuff into, so do a good job. It might also be a good idea to grease the bottom of the pan with butter, but I forgot this time.
Mix together by hand:
1 cup flour
3 tablespoons sugar
1 package vanilla sugar
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 egg
1/4 cup butter
Yeah, you're hands are gonna get messy... Don't forget to wash them before and after... Although it's harder to forget after.
After this we've gotta make the filling... So get another bowl. First ingredient to go in is the creme cheese.. CHEEEEEEESE!
Two 8oz packages of philedelphia creme cheese
CHEEEEEEEESSSSEEE
Then you've gotta beat it... Just beat it.
Beat
It kinda went all over the place on me... That's not a problem. Just get a wooden spoon thing and push it all back to the middle
Now eagle brand milk.. Probably the weirdest shit I've ever seen.
:o
Beat..
I could tell you where I've seen this before, but there might be minors reading this
Three eggs
That's hot
Beat...
The dark side of the cheese filling :O
1/4 teaspoon salt
Guess what we do next...
Beat
Somehow I doubt the necessity of this picture
Pour your mix into the shell you made earlier...
Pour wet mix into dry shell thing
Neeaaat :O
Now you wanna preheat the oven to 300 F and bake the cake for 55 minutes, or until it springs back in the middle when touched. Since I was making chicken while doing this... I have to wait for the oven to go down to 300 F.
While you're waiting for you cheese cake to cook... you can do the strawberries... Basically just sprinkle some sugar on em if want, and then mix in the glaze mix.. To do the glaze mix, you've gotta put it in a pot with sugar and water, and then pour it over the strawberries...
Mix Glaze mix with 2 tablespoons sugar, and 1 cup (250 ml) of water.
It's really red :O
Boil
BURN IN ETERNAL HELL FIRE!
Pour over strawberries
Neato :O
When the CHEEEEESE cake is done, take it out, and pour strawberries over every slice you serve (but not the whole cake).
The cake
The slice. Okay, it looks weird, but it tastes really good. I was too excited to let it cool off.
Enjoy, and tune in next time when I describe a religious experience that brought me delicious, delicious food.
EDIT: Better picture:
After it had a chance to cool down and actually maintain its shape
