But I would say that going 12 Nexus is already asking for trouble, and a calculated risk you are rarely privileged to make, especially if you are playing against JulyZerg. However, if you saw a trend in iCCup where most Zergs did not bother you for going 12 Nexus... You would be making a successful non-deductive argument in favour doing so... Given that the only set back is to lose one game on your record (who know how important that is to you?)

However, if you compare it to a calculated risk such as training someone for 5 years to perform a job, you must take into account the losses you will incur about failure... And better be pretty damn sure you will be successful short of an unforeseeable act of god that strikes down your trainee. That is... You must be confident in your calculations that this person will achieve what they need to. In that way... It holds much more weight than a game of StarCraft, because of time, and our limited lifespans, and thus requires greater inspection of the cost/benefit/risk.
