For a double throw barb with Lacerator...Ya just don't by itself. The chance to flee is quite high and for melee, or throwers, it's painful (I've tried) On the other hand, if you make a hydrid warcry/throw/frenzy this becomes one of the most fun characters that I ever played. Warcry to keep things from running, throw, or frenzy to get amp, rinse, repeat. It takes a bit to really make it work, but I had this pocketbarb at 93 or so in lod, and just had tons of fun with it. Gear was a lot of caster gear with specific things for attack rating...like lots of attack rating...you need it. As far as 2.5. Terrorized zones...meh, i guess they are ok. It seems their treasure class does tilt a little to charms (i have not actually looked at the files, this is just from playing, and it makes sense due to only these zones dropping sunder charms). I don't like the notifications 3 times an hour. This needs to be able to be turned off. I do not like sunder charms in the slightest. Ill conceived, totally game altering, not well balanced, and obviously went through zero testing. I won't go into a diatribe about devs still not knowing their game...but well, they don't. | ||

It's not like there are no other overpowered characters, especially with the sunder charms. I know Whirlwind can be OK with very good gear, but I wish they made it OP like blizzard sorc or hammerdin. | ||

i gambled for about ~15 hours over the 2 days and other than a couple "average" 2/20s and some 3os tiaras, i got pretty much nothing really good. i did sell my torch by accident on the first day though, and im 90% sure that i sold a 3os 30%frw tiara too. so for me, the gambling event was not free and it came at a cost. id really like to see this kind of event happen again though. it was probably the most ive been interested in d2 in about half a year. or better yet, just permanently reduce gambling prices by 25-50%. | ||

i dont see how making gambling cheaper is worse for the "economy". good items are still rare enough that for most pvm players, its not going to make a huge difference during a playthrough or season. its really only the pvp players that benefit more due to their obscure and niche items, and i wouldnt say its a bad thing for an extremely rare set of stats on an item that would be sold for like 20 ber runes come down to 10 ber runes. I would rather see crafting be made a little eaier by making it so that you can use any gloves, boots, armor, etc for crafting rather than having to find specific ones. | ||

Gameplay * Fixed an issue where Assassin's Blade Fury skill would stop channeling when the monster initially targeted died. * Fixed an issue where Assassin's Dragon Tail would sometimes not properly inconsistently consume charges. * Fixed an issue where Dragon Tail could cause de-sync and rubber banding issues in both online and offline play. * Fixed an issue where the Act III Mercenary would target Ravens with Enchant. * Fixed an issue where joining a new game as a terror zone rotation began could cause a failure to join the game. * Fixed an issue where a Skill could become unbound while weapon swapping. * Fixed an issue where missiles could desync if a skill was aimed at a target that was standing on top of an item.
