So here's to hope that they drop some DLC soon or open up an arena type thing. It's pretty bland atm. I wouldn't say short. I played a good amount of time for the money and I'm happy with that. I paid 40 bucks and played about 50 hours. Don't need a huge time sink. I could have gone further for Expeditions 12+ but multiplayer was quite toxic and solo was too repetitive so I was happy to end then and there

You can push through that pretty quickly. After content isn't bad, but like you said, it's pretty hit or miss with the random teams you can get paired with. Add on that people can kick you if your damage isn't high enough (even though you cleared), or the servers aren't steady, it leads to a pretty lukewarm experience. I had a couple where you die once and people just leave in the middle of a run. They play it like fortnite.

While we still don't have specific release dates for either the next installments of the venerated God of War or Horizon series, the wait may not be for much longer according to Playstation Studio head, Hermen Hulst. In a recent interview with Playstation Blog, Hulst noted that "PlayStation Studios have more than 25 titles in development. Almost half of these are new IP. The other half, they’re titles that are set in franchises that PlayStation fans already know and love." For example, Bend Studio, the team behind aggressively mediocre Days Gone, is working on a new IP based on the open world systems originally built for that game, Hulst said. Hulst also had updates about two of Playstation's most anticipated games, Horizon: Forbidden West and the next God of War. Both are currently in development but "they’re frankly affected by access to performance capture and talent," Hulst lamented. Regardless, he feels that Horizon should still be ready to ship this holiday season though there is a solid chance it might end up being pushed back to 2022. For God of War, just assume you won't be getting your Spartan rage on until at least the start of the new year. Source

The story of Ghost of Tsushima may not be done, as a new standalone expansion is heavily rumored for Ghost of Tsushima, supposedly titled Ghost of Ikishima. If real, it will seemingly be single-player DLC, a presumed complement to the free co-op Legends mode that was released after the game's launch in 2020. In theory, this could help pad out a somewhat quiet second half of the year for PlayStation. That line of reasoning makes sense given that Ghost of Tsushima was a commercial hit, selling over 6.5 million copies as of March 2021. Although it was likely expected to perform quite well, it's hard to imagine Sucker Punch Productions or Sony could have anticipated the game's explosion onto the gaming scene both critically and financially, which allowed the developer the studio to support the game with a multiplayer update and more. With a motion picture now in development, as well, Ghost of Tsushima is quickly becoming one of Sony's most valuable IP. If recent rumors ring true, it seems Sucker Punch is going to try to keep the series fresh in players' minds. According to gaming insider Shpeshal_Nick (via Wccftech), a standalone expansion in the vein of Spider-Man: Miles Morales or Uncharted: The Lost Legacy is releasing for Ghost of Tsushima later this year. Nothing else is known about the presumably titled Ghost of Ikishima, but its timing could make sense for PlayStation Studios as Sucker Punch continues to develop a full sequel. Ghost of Tsushima is also rumored for PC, so it's possible that it could launch alongside this expansion, which is expected to release on PS4 and PS5. Ikishima, also known as Iki Island, is yet another Japanese island in the Tsushima Strait, and it was also impacted by the Mongol invasion seen in the first game. It's possible this expansion could see protagonist Jin going to Ikishima to defeat straggler invaders, or perhaps there's something else that brings him there. Either way, it seems likely that such an expansion would take place in a new location close to Tsushima Island. Given it's a separate landmass, it's unlikely players would be revisiting the old map (unless part of the story takes place there). Source

I'm looking forward to trying this on PC in like 3-5 years.

Some games have their fancy GOTY editions and are bad for me anyway, or are buggy - e.g. Fallout 3 GOTY. I know it because I played it

Sure, but at the same time I saw and decided to never touch it, nothing for me. Even if it would have won every possible trophy I wouldn't play it anyway. And not winning them trophies doesn't change the quality of the game either
