ESL was great that way the last season. And honestly: The games are just more fun to watch with the more experienced casters casting them.
Yes Zombiegrub has kindly agreed to co-cast on 2 days! Really excited about this!

Obviously I don't know anything about the business side of things. But what I'm sugesting is think about signing some experienced casters on if you can.
Just like there are both pro players who get paid on the team and amateurs that don't but get support in the form of coaching from higher level players, and experience in playing in leagues etc.
To my mind it makes sense to do something similar for casters. After all you have so many awsome leagues for newer casters to cast and learn from the experience. And feedback from experienced casters can be so valuable for newer casters in getting better at their craft I think.
I love the idea of having an ecosystem not just for new up-and-comming players, but up-and-comming casters as well

Nice! It has been really nice to see ZG rising from Rifkin sidekick to a well respected caster seen on the biggest SC2 stages. She has worked hard and tightened up her game, bringing a lot less salt and to her casts than she used to. I also doubt she will do any drunkstreams again any time soon... Her passion for the game was always there.

Hmm... I am going to be pulling for Serral, let's go Serral! And MaNa you can do it
|
So hype for Zoun. There hasn’t been a up and coming exciting new Protoss in so long. Shout out to Astrea but Zoun is the chosen one.

Rooting for Maru and Zoun.

Hyyyyyyyyyype for today. Got a feeling games will be good! Go Maru show 'em who's the REAL boss of this game!
|
With how I've heard Serral talk about his mindset, I assume he is going to be pushing himself harder than normal. Maru is a champion with pride.
I expect a downright ruthless match. I will not be surprise if it is 2/0 either way.
Really excited, hoping for one long game.

Even beyond that, neither Maru or Serral are in their best shape. It's not going to settle anything regardless of who wins. Maru apparently has a broken spine and has to be in the hospital 3x a week, so there's a 0% chance he's practicing like normal. Even Serral isn't in his best shape given its impossible to stay that consistent in an online era (people forget his big LAN wins are all months apart, he didn't play in weekly online cups. Then you add on the litter of 'its online' and 'ping issues' yada yada.
People will be disappointed even if the games turn out good, which they won't because it's a cross-server TvZ and you're talking about players known specifically for perfect micro/multitasking and mechanics. Inno - Scarlett 2:0 and Inno - Scarlett 2:1 I assume Scarlett was playing from home since visa issues, corona and stuff So you need to have a lifetime 80% winrate against someone to beat them cross-server, nice

This is like the series i have been waiting for since like what 2018 ? they haven't met since the rise of both players

I am so ready to have this match fulfill my incredibly low expectations.

Finally someone with balls rigged the brackets in a way that makes it impossible for Maru to dodge it. There might still be a Korean internet outage or something.

So much talkcraft... Come on let's do this~~

So i am really not sure how it can get worse without Maru going full Naniwa and he ain't got personality for that.

There's no room for magical Maru plays here.

This game looks pretty over to me.
