This is as strange as a 9/11 conspiracy theory that questions whether the towers were actually destroyed. It’s not just filling in the blanks creatively, it’s going back to the basic agreed facts of the event and changing them. That's the entire modus operandi of Trump and his team though. It's the denial of real facts and the introduction of complete nonsense marketed as "alternative facts". He invented an alternate universe where he had a big inauguration crowd and he's the smartest and greatest and bigliest and has all the best words, and his supporters believe they live in that universe. They don't realize that universe is imaginary. Who's to say if the twin towers are destroyed in that universe? Hell, I wouldn't be surprised if Trump claimed he built them himself, during the little downtime he had between saving kittens, killing Hitler, and picking himself up by his own bootstraps with no help or money from his father.
Nope, the towers definitely existed and fell down. That fact is important because it allowed Trump to tell the world that he now owns the tallest buildings in New York.
Like, wasn't it a day afterward when he said that on TV?

Are you ready for conservative politicians to rally behind bringing back the good old days while blaming globalists and foreigners for the state of the economy? Are you ready for some new hyper conservative political party to emerge calling themselves the New Founding Fathers without any irony? Are you ready for them to promise to bring back the natural order? Are you talking about 1920? because it sounds a lot like 2018.

This Mike Cohen plea deal is the best. They were trying for a Trump town deal in Moscow during the 2016 campaign and after. Cohen was planning for travel to Russia, maybe even with Trump. I wonder what Trump put in those written statements of his?
And Deutsche Bank’s offices raided today, where Trump has all his money.
Gotta say: “chef’s kiss” to today.

Yeah he said that. But when you really think about it use your gut, isn't it obvious that Trump owns all the buildings that are the tallest and the shiniest and can entertain the most golden showers? I mean, he knows the very best people and they're great guys. Phenomenal even. Tremendous.

I guess Trump's not going to pardon Cohen after those statements he made. I wonder what Mueller's saying to get them to plead guilty. Maybe they're realizing that their loyalty to Trump was never going to be returned

Maybe they're realizing that their loyalty to Trump was never going to be returned Mueller doesn't have to say much, they raided Cohens office, he has many financial fraud problems. He flipped a while ago. Not to mention Trump already threw the bus at him during the Stormy Daniels case. Cohen literally paid her off out of pocket to help Trump and Donald still threw the bus.

I'm pretty sure Cohen can't be pardoned, since a good chunk of the charges are for violating state laws. It is why Manafort's plan for seeking a pardon is staggeringly stupid, since he is also facing a truck load of state charges.

On a perverse level, I am enjoying all of this. Now the conservatives can see what a shit show they elected to ruin the country.

It was actually the day of, while there was a blazing inferno in downtown Manhattan.

Trump has stuck his neck out by telling Mueller in his written answers that he did not know about the Trump Tower meeting. Yet 40 minutes after the meeting started, he tweeted for the first time about Hillary's missing emails. The man can't stop himself from lying. It's really only a matter of whether Mueller can find the proof.

Donald just tweeted he cancelled his meeting with Vladimir in Argentina because Russians did not release the captured Ukrainian sailors. Is it enough to kill the " the standing USA position is that we don't care and Russia will face not even mild verbal complaints from the USA" narrative?

I mean, it is a start. Canceling a meeting isn't that big of a deal though and I really don't think he did it because of the soldiers

And this is Trump we're talking about here. One minute WH says one thing, he does the other.

Is it enough to kill the " the standing USA position is that we don't care and Russia will face not even mild verbal complaints from the USA" narrative? So Trump is very cozy with Putin, but the Senate and even parts of his administration(DOJ) have been far less forgiving, imposing new sanctions and charging Russian nationals with crimes. But as Trump dominates al l political media, those efforts are rarely highlighted. This gives the impression that the US is far more forgiving of Russia’s actions.
Now, if we had a normal President who wasn’t trying to cut real estate deals with Russia, maybe while in office, we would be doing more.
|
I'd say it makes a difference if he tweeted it, and not just a message from the WH. That seems like it's his active choice.

If Trump has charges laid against him and is found guilty, violence will certainly follow from the trumpets.
