My guess is the part that sounds true in the message is the rallying behind a negative message (Not Trump) rather than a positive one (us). It's not actually true cause a lot of democrats are rallying behind single payer, amongst other things, but they could probably do with a little more of that kind of stuff and a little less Russia in general. | ||

It's not actually true cause a lot of democrats are rallying behind single payer, amongst other things, but they could probably do with a little more of that kind of stuff and a little less Russia in general. sadly, the other stuff doesn't get attention, so even when it's being done, nobody hears about, so they don't think i'ts being done and/or are unaware of it being done. or they're a bit aware of it; but misestimate the degree to which each is done because one gets far more coverage than the other. reminds me of the issues with how people perceive the crime rate to be (i.e. people perceive how bad crime is mostly based on the degree and sensationalism of the crime reporting, rather than on whether crime is in fact going up or down or what the actual rates are). | ||
