Always bad when you are stressed before you even arrive at the event. Let's hope he doesn't lose his luggage and keyboard.

Wait a minute, does it start now or in an hour?
Edit: I guess the show starts in 30 minutes? Games slightly later?

If Zest is still on Nation Wars level he will not advance, but I think he will have improved a lot since then. I agree. It's just too easy to blame potential KR losses on jet lag and the like. I also think that foreigners do have a shot here. Nerchio is in super form, Showtime definitely has the potential to advance, and so does uThermal. Probably not both of them, though Snute will probably have a tough time against the KR terrans, but I think he can beat both herO and Solar. I think he has a much better shot against Ryung than against herO tbh. Stats vs TY as one of the first 3 matches in Group B. Okay. What are your general thoughts on stats in lotv as far as playstyle? I can't figure him out as a player. It feels like he does nothing exceptionally well other than playing exceptionally consistent He plays very standard most of the time. But generally his execution is the most exceptional part of his play. He'll nail his builds and generally I'd say his control is better than that of any other active Protoss. I remember a game from the last HSC where he played against Solar and he went for a 2-base immortal/chargelot all-in with some sentries. Solar scouted everything 3 times, he was ready with a big roach/ravager army. Didn't matter at all, he still got killed by the push. And then there was a game in Shoutcraft Kings were almost the exact same thing happened to Dark.
Sometimes Stats does the TY thing where when he's ahead he tries to get more ahead instead of going for the kill. At times to the point of getting himself into trouble. But overall Stats is solid to a level that doesn't even make sense.

Watching him in HOTS I always respected Stats but always had the intuition that he lacked another gear compared to some of the other protosses like PartinG/herO/Zest etc.
Whatever it is he just keeps on improving so all credit to him

He was always very versatile. He's more similar to Classic in that sense, although slightly more conservative.

Stats is the Soulkey of Protoss.
