Almost anyone can qualify tbh, upsets can happen for the third place. aLive has a good TvT but the only way for him to beat TY (imo) would be to play against him before losing momentum (ie. losing against Stats or Neeb), so he has to beat either Stats or Neeb, which depends on Neeb form. Against jjakji it's gonna be close but I think jjakji will handle the offline format better. Neeb could qualify as well but there are a lot of terrans and I'm not sure if he is still that good in the MU? As for group 1, herO is on fire, ByuN looked decent in the qualifier and Ryung has been training hard for the GSL (I hope :o) so he should be able to qualify as well. | ||

Nerchio is better than Dark atm tho *skeptical face* That's quite a stretch. Just because he underestimated Classic? soO has been better than Dark at ZvZ for awhile now. Years. In fact, I can't remember ever seeing Dark beat soO. | ||

Group B: #1 TY (consistent top-tier player)#2 aLive (there's always some upsets)#3 Stats (better than the rest)I think aLive will do well this tournament. He has quite a lot of foreign tournament experience as well. | ||

Solar's a good ZvZ player in general and form seems pretty solid as is.TY and Stats seem pretty obvious in Group B as Stats just seems too solid and TY is just a better player than aLive in every dimension | ||

Snute has a solid ZvZ and I don't think Korean Zergs have a way better ZvZ the the EU ones (may be even the KR ZvZ is worse then the EU one, there aren't that many Zergs in Korea). On the other hand, who else will Snute beat apart for HeroMarine? A 2-3 record probably won't be enough for 3rd place (unless 2 of the KR players beat all the others in the group, and even then a 2-3 record is tough to pass with). So unless Snute manages to beat one of the KR terrans or Hero he will end his journey today. I'm not that certain about Byun either, even though so many people treat him as a favorite. For group B, I don't see aLive getting second there. TY will probably be first there, but the rest is open for all the other korens and Neeb. Yes, he has a chance if he proves his PvP is still solid and win at least one PvT. A 3-2 record is enough to second or third (in a very unlikely situation even first). | ||
