Probably the waveclear. I think Greymane is pretty decent in the meta right now, but I really really hate the cocktail build, so I refuse to play him. :p

Yeah, so...Orbital BFG just won a game.
I guess that's going to be a thing I have to deal with in HL now.

That build's actually not bad! I tried it out a bit, and it's pretty solid if you need a meaty frontline focused on peeling. I like Skullcracker build more right now because Muradin comes ONLINE at 16 like no one's business.
Or do you mean the full YOLO swaggg dmg Muradin?
BR Tank build for reference: http://www.heroesfire.com/hots/talent-calculator/muradin#pF5n (Alternatively, Battle Momentum and Rewind)

nah I mean the MVP build, I've played it and talked about with others and the conclusion seems to be that it's really sucky if you don't have a 2nd tank so you can rotate in and out. Muradin really needs the heals if he stays in and the stoneform alone doesn't seem to be enough now.
skullcracker+executioner is my go to now, but with very moderate success and I think I'll just revert to BM without 2nd tank

Does it make sense to take block over q-range on 1 as Thrall vs Tracer?

TL not even in TOP 8 EU teams

I mean, is it that surprising? They benched or kicked all of their good players and brought in notoriously unreliable players to fill. I would not be surprised to see TL drop Heroes of the Storm for good after this, especially since LoL roster swaps are happening right now. They'll probably double down on LoL like a lot of the Koreans did after releasing their SC2 rosters.

It's sad but I totally forgot TL had a Heroes team. In fact do they even have a full roster at the moment?

the observer for GCWC is rather poor

does the mvp black vs some team stream lag for anyone else? Lags big time for me the last 2min~
|
Well, I wanted to watch the MVP Black vs ZeroPanda series, but if I have to watch it in Chinese since the Twitch server plain DOES NOT work, then I suppose not.
|
This lag is really killing the fun, got to say.

I think it's worth talking about the draft from that last game of Black vs Miracle on Cursed Hollow.
MVP Miracle FP, ignore Gall LOL
So Miracle first banned Abathur, which might have been a targeted ban for Abathur/Zeratul or Abathur/Greymane. I suppose Black felt that it threatened Zeratul, and it's certainly a more efficient first ban than the other two staple bans, ETC or Malfurion.
Miracle then first picked Tassadar and threatened both Tracer and Illidan comps simultaneously. Black settled for the lesser of two evils and picked pure anti-Illidan Heroes, Brightwing and Tracer. I think it's interesting to note that Miracle didn't immediately pick up the Malfurion and instead prioritized both Valla and Tyrael higher; this may be because they can pivot to Auriel with the Valla if Malfurion was banned. At this point, I think there's also the real threat of a Greymane pick.
Black's second ban doesn't make a lot of sense to me. Zarya was a great choice for Miracle, though. Denying both big shield Heroes (Tassadar and Zarya) from a Tracer comp is really brutal and makes Tracer a much weaker Hero.
For Black, I can't fully wrap my head around the Muradin ban. Like, in what world is Muradin a dangerous pick here? Misclick? My only guess is that they were dead set on the following Falstad/ETC picks and wanted to deny as many possible Mosh Pit interrupts as possible; they didn't want to pick Tychus and give up Miracle any global pressure. Double support/double tank for Miracle seems very unlikely though, even in the best scenario. Had they just banned Illidan here, I think the only real threat would have been double support Thrall or Greymane, but that's easy to deal with as long as Gust is up.
After the Illidan pick, it looked like Black had given up entirely on the draft. They stole the Tracer early on, but they just couldn't get a good comp to complement her. In my opinion, the only way to play Tracer is either double support or double tank (less preferable). They locked themselves out of a good double tank comp with the Muradin ban, and the only other viable support here was Li Li. I think a team like Misfits would have played Li Li, but I'm not sure Black has ever played Li Li against Illidan.
You could potentially pick a bruiser like Sonya, Artanis, Thrall, or Varian here to complete the composition, but it's less desirable. MVP Black settled for Varian, strangely enough. I think Thrall or Artanis would have done remarkably better, but the click-stun is very attractive against Illidan. Rich played Twin Blades, but it's possible a Colossus Smash or even a Taunt build would have fared better.
All in all, I think Black backed themselves into a corner in draft, and then failed miserably at execution. Sign's Mosh Pits were complete failures, and the Tracer did almost no real damage to Illidan throughout the game; Rich's Varian looked unpractice and most definitely ill-suited to the comp.
What do you guys think?
EDIT: Similar draft beginning in G1 of BLX vs Miracle, might be worth studying. + Show Spoiler +

honestly Black looked done the moment Tass got locked in. We are back to the 2 carries+Tass meta now. You pick Tass first and then get the 2nd carry.
