It just might actually turn into that cliche mentioned above about angels being the next enemy, and them turning out to to blood-crazed war-loving homicidal maniacs. Pretty sure both sides are part of a moral grey area. We've seen demons have emotions and are capable of love and shit, but they've done some terrible shit. Humans are grey. Angels seemed pretty chill but were likely ruthless in the war

Have we even seen any angels besides the one who got summoned then owned?

So Merlin's a demon? Or some kind of ancient race.

Sounds like daughter of the demon king or something.

Demon king? Probably not. A previous commandment? More probable. Or a powerful demoness, something like Diablo's franchise Andariel or Lilith. I'm beginning to think all the 7 sins have some connection to the demon-clan.

considering he was still messing around with elizabeth and hawk i dont think it was possessed
the demon king mentioned eating his emotions so maybe hes eating the more lighthearted parts of him every time he dies so he just gets more and more sadistic

I agree, Nanatsu no Taizai's quality overall is really above average for a weekly. The chapters feel satisfying even if it's all talk and no action.

+ Show Spoiler +Feels like the rest of the commandments forced these two to join them during the last war, or else the demons would wipe their clans.

With all these series I have a hard time remembering....was there a conversation that covered their motivations before? This seems out of left field to me atm and kinda a very convenient way to power up a couple of the sins who had been left behind by the power curve.
