AKA Seven Deadly Sins
Description:
The "Seven Deadly Sins", a group of evil knights who conspired to overthrow the kingdom of Britannia, were said to have been eradicated by the Holy Knights, although some claim that they still live. Ten years later, the Holy Knights have staged a Coup d'état and assassinated the king, becoming the new, tyrannical rulers of the kingdom. Elizabeth, the king's daughter, sets out on a journey to find the "Seven Deadly Sins", and to enlist their help in taking back the kingdom.
I really really love this manga, its not original but it is high quality, high action, good characters and so far the power level of all the characters have not annoyed me.

I really like this manga, but the pacing lately makes it seem like it will end soon. Everything seems too rushed. Hopefully not, but I wish they would have taken the story more slowly to meet the other sins, get more character development, before such a big scale fight with the holy knights.

LOL blind-rawr i totally didnt see this thread and this thread deserves SO MUCH more attention.
Anyone who loves DragonBall artsyle (who doesn't?!) and loves RPG will love this manga. (Ancient+)Medieval time setting and the RPG-like spells/fighting styles are really cool. Plus did i mention that Main character is a perverted shota? I am not sure if that is supposed to a good or bad thing (lol) but with the other characters you get some really lively team for a journey to help out the princess. It is funny, chaotic and very entertaining.
And I have to mention that the story can rbe eally intense at times, dark conspiratorial plotting scenes and the stupid back stories behind the Sins that are usually tear-inducing stuffs T_T. For example, the previous chapter of the back story of that thousand years old fairy king (He is the Sloth) talked about his pure (first) love and his best friend, not spoiling it here but you can guess it, yes, blood and tears were involved.
Great pacing and actions packed - once you started to read it I bet you won't be able to stop and will join me in the waiting game of anticipating new chapter on every friday/saturday. And it gets its Anime after a mere 70~ chapters (it is a weekly manga), you should be able to tell how good it is.

old fairy king(or just King) is sloth, not greed.
Ban is Greed, but yeah both King and Ban have some really good back story, actually everyone has a good story for them.

and the thing is that it is not a generic shounen adventure save the world either, we still have so many unrevealed plots and the plots can be rather dark as a shounen. I love it.

Full Counter, owned multiple holy knights in one shot. If you played any (old) jrpg you should know this standard knight spell and full counter would be reflecting all magic/physical damage. Really cool.
I like how the Sins are presumably at really high levels with advanced spells with them but they still can get owned easily by the high level holy knights. But of course their powers are not fully unlocked, they need to find their lost ultimate weapons which is the sidequests of their journey. Totally rpg right.

I really like this manga!
This also has a deep secret because of their "betrayal" of the king and the demon clan!
It's on my top manga list right now

The main character is not female imo
It's Melodias the captain, then you have Elizbeth the princess and one of the keys for something that's about to happen
Melodias team consists of 7 members and only one of them is a girl

I really liked this manga in the first 50ish chapters... lately it's gotten a bit weird, pacing seems off, etc.

Based on the pacing either the series will end relatively soon or + Show Spoiler +the conflict will shift from Sins vs Holy Knights to Sins/humans vs the revived Demon clan

I agree and I hope it doesn't end soon. It also seems unlikely it's in a hurry to end since it seems like it enjoys decent popularity in Japan.
Kinda funny how Ban lately has become a punching bag. Not that he wasn't always Meliodas' punching bag, but seriously he goes down like twice per chapter.

Nah, because then you would always need to watch and read everything before you can say that you dislike it. I hate ecchi and I dislike "romance"(real romance is fine), most comedies and shounen. So I'm 100% sure this is nothing for me. One Piece is as far as I go in that regard and even there, I'm not fond of the character design.
