I should have been more explicit, not being ridiculed like Lilbow got last year. I genuinely think guys like Snute or MLord if they qualify won't be laughable even vs the cream of the Korean scene. They probably will go 0-4 but as long as they don't look like fools I'm ok with it.

Thanks guys, will try to watch the VODs later. Did the crowd cheer for Polt even he sent home the last Polish guy? I hope yes, Polt is a great guy ... But anyway, great performance by Nerchio, he was happy to get through ShowTime in the first round, but then he played really excellent ... So let us cheer for Snute now, for the drea, final Snute vs. Polt. Snute was one of the players, who were not celebrating the welfare system at all, he was also one of the players, who were able to beat Koreans even when it was still allowed, so he would deserve it!!!!

If you take those into account Zergiica's statement makes even less sense, because Polt can't participate in any of those (without going to open qualifiers on site) just like any other Korean. Last year's WCS was boring because it was already mostly about keeping Koreans (i.e. the best players) at bay. This year's WCS is even worse, with people who wouldn't otherwise make it out of challenger suddenly appearing in ro16s or ro8s. I didn't watch any WCS anymore because of that, but at least there were still the larger tournaments such as IEM and Dreamhack which had plenty of Koreans. Now Blizzard actually managed to all but ban them from participating too, resulting in the current situation where the few Koreans that do still manage to participate just mop the floor with players that are considered top foreigners.
