Stick in there as long as you can, you never know what can happen in medicine. You've always been an outlier.

TB does not need "internet medical expert" advice. TB needs your well wishes or prayers. Any derailment consisting of "alternative medical treatments" will be moderated.

Black as the pit From pole to pole, I thank whatever gods may be For my unconquerable soul. In the fell clutch of circumstance I have not winced nor cried aloud. Under the bludgeonings of chance My head is bloody, but unbowed. Beyond this place of wrath and tears Looms but the Horror of the shade, And yet the menace of the years Finds, and shall find, me unafraid. It matters not how strait the gate, How charged with punishments the scroll, I am the master of my fate: I am the captain of my soul. —Invictus, William Ernest Henley I admire your spirit, TB. All the best!

I have two friends and an ex girlfriend (the mother of my child), all diagnosed with Cancer. All three are still alive. All have outlived both the median and the average. All may still survive. All may still be cured. I trust science, but science uses historical data based on old treatments going back many years. Victims of Cancer today will show much higher longevity and survivability than historical data indicates. All is not lost. Please remember this, All Is Not Lost. Don't be afraid of the following link: http://cancerguide.org/median_not_msg.html You still have great things to accomplish. The median is not the message. StarCraft for ever. TB, we love you. Know this.

And once the protein reached the liver with the help of the bloodstream it simply attached itself to the liver and started to grow. If the cancer was attached to only the liver then you wouldn't even need a liver transplant, there are people who are living perfectly with 2/3 of their liver removed. Problem is that since the cancer actually is in his bloodstream it will only appear again. I'm hoping that I'm really wrong about this though, I really do... Just adding further. He mentioned on twitter today having a PET scan, presumably to see if it's appearing anywhere else.

I watch your WTF is series to determine my choices in purchasing video games I heard from friends that if a cancer spreads to liver it is really really bad and odds of survival is very low, but i hope that you can once again become an outlier :D

Don't fear the transition. For now, it is best to accept the inevitable and make preparations for those who will remain in this realm. You will see them again. Quod fuimus, estis; quod sumus, vos eritis

I wish you the courage to change the things you can change, the serenity to accept the things you cannot change, and the wisdom to know the difference. Deal with it like u dealt with life, as far as i can tell: as a realist. You can get a lot of strength out of it, and you'll need that. Illusions are for weak people, as it is to surrender to an overwhealming enemy force. Fuck the cancer! Keep on fighting (theres no other choice anyway)! All the best to you and your family.
