ESEX
Of course, ESEX will continue. But I'll be an ordinary writer now for the Dota 2 section instead of the head editor. Marc (SirJolt) will be taking over editing duties. The League section has already been self-sufficient and independent from me for a while now. Joe, Hal, and Cassandra have been doing great there.
I want to thank all the people that supported ESEX Dota 2 when we did our Kickstarter. The funding period was technically until the end of August, but we all knew we wouldn't stop there, because come on, the drama never ends. We still have a few Harry Potter chapters left and hopefully some parody songs to write. I'm so happy that the backers still hang out in our writers chat to this day and we still get some good feedback from them. I guess talking about drama never gets old. Also, meeting you guys and having dinner at TI was really fun! If you guys want to be added to the chat too just message me on Twitter.
Interviews
I am taking a step back from being an interviewer at events. I think it's time. I never thought that people would actually enjoy watching me have a conversation with random progamers as much as they did, and I'm so glad and lucky to be part of the official Valve TI production two years in a row.
I'd still like to run the fun side of the TI Qualifier Hub if that happens again. That was an amazing experience and we could do it again and better next time.
I have some shoutouts and no callout.
+ Show Spoiler [Shoutouts] +
Shoutout to Victor and the TL crew, you know who you are. I spent four years of my life at TL, and my experiences there taught me a lot about how to work with and treat people. My time at TL really shaped who I am and I'm better for it.
Shoutout to the event smash crew, especially Weppas. I still remember ixmike beating Charlie, finding a CRT in China, falling asleep to the click clacking of gamecube controllers, and MrBitter choking hard in game 5. You guys rule, except for all you sheik pickers like Skrff and Lumi and MSS. Be a real man like Draskyl and learn falcon you forward tilting forward airing fucks.
Shoutout to Purge and Pyrion and Cap and LD and Merlini and Maut and Lumi and all you cool Dota people I didn't say. One of the things I'll miss most is the social side of TI. It's just so much fun being around all of you. I miss it so much already, the midnight snacks and mafia games that run late. Thank you all for putting up with my general wackiness. Let's hope there's a qualifier hub next year...
Shoutout to Blitz for being a good, caring friend I know I'll be talking to in 15 years. You care enough about me that you intentionally gives me bad bet advice so I won't get addicted to CSGO Lounge. You're right, I owe you.
Shoutout to Kennigit and Chobra and Carmac, thanks for the job. We're going to kick ass.

I don't usually write serious stuff, especially about myself, but working for ESL and moving to California is another big, positive step in my life. I've never been more happy or excited for the future.
