too bad, i remember meeting him in person at NASL 3...he was such a bad ass.

Bye MC, crazy to lose such a legend. Good luck to his future endeavors.

MC was one of those players i wanted to watch regardless of what was at stake. dunno about anyone else, but i don't watch this game just to see nerds click buttons better than i can click buttons, i watch for the guys who bring personality and make it fun to follow them and care about their playstyle. talent can always be replaced, but some personas are just unique

he will be back. Normal jobs suck.

Damn, a legend ends his career. I liked his games and I loved his personality. GL in whatever you wish to do, BossToss!

Awww I don't really follow SC2 any more, but it's still sad to see a legend retire, a player with character who brought us much entertainment and joy. Good luck in the future, MC.

Truly the end of an era, MC is one of the last players left who was highly prominent during the very beginning of SCII; it's a testament to his great adaptability that he continued to play at a high level for so long.
Besides laying down many principles of Protoss play still in use today, he was one of the most publicly forward SCII personalities, doing much to enhance the entertainment aspect of tournaments and other esports events
He certainly worked hard for all that money he amassed; there are very few progamers that can rival the sheer extent of his globetrotting itinerary.
For all this and more, we salute you, MC, and wish you the best of luck in your future endeavors

My friends ate Protoss, but love MC. This guy was e-sports greatest ambassador

Somebody make an MC tribute video, I need something to cry to.

I remember that the first MarineKing retirement got an in memoriam article. I don't know what the personal schedules are like right now for the TL writers, but MC is a huge deal of a player.

I should stop visiting this website. Every time I go here some legend retires. God, I miss old times when SC2 was actually a thing.
Gl to MC in his future!

MC is too important to not write about. In terms of pure importance, he is either #1 or #2 swapping places with Mvp (personally for me).
