1. His ability to either deal critical damage or outright win games off of his first gateway units, the zealot-stalker-poke. Usually vs foreign players who couldn't handle his control (PvT/PvP mainly) 2. WOW! Thats the most popular news website in Finland (unfortunately). It was on the front page . Some things from the news: Mc lived most of his professional career in team houses. Interestingly enough the news also tells a bit about MC's aggressive playstyle with protoss. Mc made it 26 times to at least semifinals in a premier tournament! 6x 1st places and 10x 2nd places. Besides laying down many principles of Protoss play still in use today, he was one of the most publicly forward SCII personalities, doing much to enhance the entertainment aspect of tournaments and other esports events He certainly worked hard for all that money he amassed; there are very few progamers that can rival the sheer extent of his globetrotting itinerary. Just Jaedong, iNcontroL, QXC, TLO, Root.Catz left now for me. Though I like Polt, Snute and Bunny too. I'm rooting for Rooterdam. I look for White-Ra when he pops up. I remember the time, when he put a forcefield between the main and the natural. Other players did that too, but noone played it like MC. Or when he casted Homestorycup. Or his agressive games in the early GSL. Or his dt's against naniwas dancing army And hell, he knows how to do a show. He plays like a top korean and makes a show like a WWC wrestler. Its really sad to see him go. Unfortunately this is just how sc2 is going these days. I would like to read a "best of MC" article or something. With his best games an most important moments. | ||

 For me, he is the most important player in SC2 history. He pretty much defined how protoss should be played in WoL, was present not only in korea but also in a lot of international tournaments, and has always been the brightest personality in korean SC2 - and probably the world. That Naniwa game was so painful...if I remember MC might have had all of his gateways on one pylon as well. MC had a long history of crazy games...I remember him proxy gating White-Ra in game 5 of a finals...I remember a revenge match 3-0 against Idra (after Idra beat him earlier in the tournament) and so many other great MC times. But how can anything compare with his season 3 interview after beating July where he said "him drone, drone, drone. Me all in; me win." | ||
