My favorite SC2 player... Kinda weird, I don't care about SC2 at all anymore, yet still somehow sad that he retires.

MC, Idra, Nony, Scarlett (she came back thank God), Machine.

Just Jaedong, iNcontroL, QXC, TLO, Root.Catz left now for me. Though I like Polt, Snute and Bunny too. I'm rooting for Rooterdam. I look for White-Ra when he pops up. My son took lessons from Sheth, it helped a lot he is a beast.

I still hate him for beating July in the GSL final, but it's hard not to respect the guy. One thing I did appreciate about him, he was one of the few players who spoke up and told other players to treat the game and profession with respect.

Farewell MC. He was one of the big reasons I got so into watching professional SC2, if I had to name an absolute favorite SC2 player of all time it would probably be him. I still remember that night in my sophomore year of college where I stayed up until ~4-5am and watched MC beat July to become the first 2-time GSL champion. Hard to believe that it's been over 4 years since then...

Great player , Smart , some of the deadliest builds and executions iv seen ,a winner , this guy was unbeatable for months , everyone pointed him and knew he was going to be a code S champion.. and he did it and "easy". boss

The best days of SC2 were back when MC was coming up with crazy attacks and maneuvers that nobody else had thought of. He was the first to really show us the micro potential of a number of Protoss units.

I remember the time, when he put a forcefield between the main and the natural. Other players did that too, but noone played it like MC.
Or when he casted Homestorycup.
Or his agressive games in the early GSL.
Or his dt's against naniwas dancing army

And hell, he knows how to do a show. He plays like a top korean and makes a show like a WWC wrestler.

Its really sad to see him go. Unfortunately this is just how sc2 is going these days.

I would like to read a "best of MC" article or something. With his best games an most important moments.

Saddest retirement ever..

For me, he is the most important player in SC2 history. He pretty much defined how protoss should be played in WoL, was present not only in korea but also in a lot of international tournaments, and has always been the brightest personality in korean SC2 - and probably the world.

We love you Bosstoss, take care of yourself and your life.
