Shame about losing Impact, but he didn't make a huge ... mark on the competitive scene. Perhaps he could have done a lot more if there were more foreign events since he did do quite well in those.

Are there plans to bolster the roster to get ready for proleague or is the plan to combine with someone else?

Welp this came out of nowhere... Yeah it's really a weird choice and doesn't sound very wise.

Best of luck to Impact. He made a big impression on me when I saw State of Play.

hmm dont know what to think about it... on the one hand he is a player who could make it into a top proleague team but on the other hand if not we probably wont see him at all (except korean online tournaments)

As much as I like both DRG and Team Axiom, it seems impossible. When DRG left Invasion, he made a clear statement that what he's looking for is Kespa.
"Today I think the best solution for me is to play the proleague in a high level structure to get back the level I had and only the Kespa can provide this."

This news makes me a little sad, I loved seeing Impact break out from being a KeSPA b-teamer into a cracking player, he might not have won any tournaments but I don't think anyone can deny he's improved a lot. I just hope he's made a good decision and finds a new home soon.

Hopefully he finds a good new home.

He was out of contract, requested to leave to pursue other opportunities, so we let him, simple as that.
I am a little disappointed that someone who has always been a great "anti-bullshit" exception to bland "correct and official statements" is insisting on this "official reason". C'mon, you know better than "other opportunities".

is impact joining a kespa team for proleague too?

Strange, why would he leave one of thee most stable teams in the scene? I guess he's seeing big numbers where there are none... well, GLHF

GL to both!
I'm probably most interested to see who Ax picks up next.

But really surprising that he leaves "his second family". I would love to see him play in Proleague, just hope he gets a good team. No that was a long time ago when KeSPA were charging entry fees for Proleague. Afaik that practice has now ceased. With the way Prime is going, it looks like they're gonna need an 8th team for next season if they keep dropping players. Partnership time? AxiomPrime is a sweet sounding name at least tbh the name Axiom goes with anything you could call a team AxiomBurrito and it would still sound good
I would eat that! I mean cheer for them... Will cheer for Ax in PL either way!

Surprised by this tbh. GL to Impact, he has the potential to succeed and I hope he will. GL to Axiom as well, Impact was a very good addition to the team.

I think the only place that would allow him to develop his skills better than Axiom would probably be one of the historical KeSPA teams (CJ.Impact pls^^), but would he get decent playtime in these teams? SKT is pretty much closed with Dark and soO, KT has Life and there's little reason to deviate from the Life/Zest/Stats/[insert B-teamer here] quartet, JinAir is pretty stacked as well... I guess CJ and Khan could be fitting homes?

CJ and Samsung would be nice for him for sure. I'd prefer to see him on Samsung over CJ though, I feel he'd get more opportunities with Samsung. Stork likes to give B-Teamers time in PL. CJ not so much.

Hoping the best for him. Maybe he will return with some of the ex-teammate at Woojing Stars

I doubt it, as tb has already said Axiom will probably participate in the next season of proleague. If anything Impact probably wanted to improve even more as a player by being under the Kespa training environment which is understandable but still sad >.< I would've loved to see him rep Axiom in proleague.

Huge news! With a partnership or by adding depth to your own team ?

Samsung looks pretty good for anyone with potential right now: you'll get Proleague exposure and some flights if you're doing really well since only dear is a clear lock in the line up at the moment.

I also remeber when you said Axiom was unlikely to enter PL, so awesome that the winds of destiny has shifted. Would be positively awesome to see Axiom in proleague! I really hope it happens.

We all know that means "wants to play in Proleague".
And that's DRG's case as well, so I highly doubt we'll see him on a foreign team soon...
Good luck Impact!
