Until he even gets to the RO4 of a premier he shouldn't be anywhere near top 5 lists. Maru and Inno are definitely higher than herO as well. Dark made it to Ro4 for IEM Katowice.

PartinG really doesn't have a clue when it comes to lategame PvZ. I don't expect Parting to play a standard macro game, so some cheesy play will happen. And protoss cheese/allins are very strong and with good forcefields and so on... so theoretically, as we have seen so often even a lesser player can win. But Parting isn't a lesser player. He may not win tournaments left and right but he was always there and took the win, even though he wasn't favorite. Parting is incredibly intelligent, he knows his race he knows how to mindgame, he fooled every player so far, be it Life, Innovation, Flash, Maru, herO and whatever their names are. Not by superior play but by choosing the right build order after mindgames and forcing the opponent into the wrong BO. I always get mad, when I see Partings cheesy wins, but since it happens so often that he chooses the right build order for his opponent... so the rage always goes into "well, maybe he didn't outplay the opponent, but outsmart him"

I'm glad Life won, he had my head and heart vote behind him! I have the feeling herO's strength doesn't lie in the bo7's or bo5's but rather straight up solid play. Not to say he's not good at these types of matches, there's other people who outclass him when it comes to preparation.

I would rate Rogue ahead of him by results He is young, he is on top of his game and he is microing. You don't see lots of Zergs microing a lot so that is the reason he is already better then lots of the other zergs just by definition. And of course he takes great engagements. However at IEM he sometimes also derped into the engagements :D

Yes, but a GSL World Championship. Mvp's and Zests GSL WC count on the LP Page and afaik they got stuff from GSL as well (Mvp could have had a G5L trophy, so it seems to count). Kespa/hot6 are high level korean tournaments, but no "official" GSL's. Just like SSL/OSL.

Another PvP Finals and I would never ever again subscribe to anything related to starcraft, and PvP overall bores the shit out of many ppl since the almost one year dominance of Toss.

There were even all kind of real tears at the end..

Why do people overrate Dark so much? Almost all of his success is against Terran. I would rate Rogue ahead of him by results Inno said in 10 questions video, Dark is best player on SKT, he's prolly saying aside from himself. Dark's build is more creative and interesting than Rogue, and also Rogue himself said Dark is above him at this moment. I think at times he's a little to cocky, and it backfires in matches.

Their wins were in the earlier seasons of GSL, the last one being Mvp's last win 3 years ago. Life would also become the only player with GSL wins both in WoL and HotS. life's wins overall are overshadowing nestea's and mc's now. nestea had the easiest gsl run ever and didn't do well in foreign tournaments. they will always be greats of sc2 but life's got a better/longer/more impressive legacy at the moment. the only one comparable to him is mvp at this point, but they're different, because mvp somewhat of an old legend, and life has less great victories but in a harder time, and more foreign victories, and his wins are more spread out. i think if life wins this gsl he'll become the undisputable best sc2 player of all time though.

Yes i think it's reasonable to look at it that way. He is at least on the same lvl as Mvp if he wins this, and i am sure that Life won't stop winning stuff after that, he is only 18 (it's hard to forget, haha)
