I'm gonna go ahead and side with the other guy. you're a newcomer too, both from the EU last i checked no eu is top 10, "aight" and you're taking the comment i said about kunckledu out of context. is he new compared to all the OGS? yeah he is. he's still apart of the newer generation players, he was definitely not relevant in daigo's era ROFL.

There's so many things wrong with this post that I'm baffled. Edit: wow just catching up on the last half a page. Nvm. This is too much lmao.

If you mean newcomer to fighting games, you might have a case, but NuckleDu has been competitive since like, SSFIV. Why not just call him a young player? He's like 12 years younger than your example. It's not an offensive title, it's just kind of ignorant. And then using that term to try and belittle other posters doesn't help you seem any more aware... you joined 1 year before one of them, and 2 years after another. You don't even know the difference in post counts between websites. Plus, you admitted to not following the scene much, how are you going to make a "Last time I checked..." argument? You seem like you haven't watched the past 5 NA tournaments because they're smaller scale majors, so I doubt you'd watch any EU tournaments either. God, a tournament's going on, everyone watch it!

When TL split off LiquidDota/LiquidHearth/LiquidHeroes, and then recombined the 'community' forums, they made it so that you see the post count of the account on whichever site you're viewing from. Neither of them have posted on LD before, so you see them as 0 post accounts. Those accounts are 3 and 8 years old, respectively. I find this discussion hilarious. As if post count and what the user's country is should matter, hahahaha. I missed today's games, any specific matches worth watching?

I've always liked Du (at least when he's not in a GF with Die :p ) since briefly talking to him pre-Crs occurred, but I've instantly become invested in him once the Crs->TL occurred.

Great character for him, but you can see him make poor decisions with U2 and his footsies with her aren't natural yet. It'll be super strong when he's more comfortable with the character. I think she really plays into his strengths as a player, and Rufus is definitely in a fairly weak spot overall right now Dude's been stagnating in SF4 for a long time, he and Ricky both have dropped off a ton in terms of results over the last two years. It's at the point where I'm legitimately surprised if Justin makes finals at a major these days. The exception for Ricky seems to be Evo, seems like Ricky is always ready for that tournament.

Soooo many good matches. IDK why toughcookie doesn't archive. It shows 4+ hour videos in their past broadcasts but the videos don't play the annoying thing is i was intermittently sleeping during it so i missed all of team korea's matches if anyone's from asia or will be up late tonight, i highly recommend checking out twitch.tv/toughcookietv when it goes live in 10-12 hours. Singles is gonna be fucking crazy, there's so much talent in the building. And Misse was playing out of his mind yesterday, so you'll get to see some hype Makoto (NOOCTA)

But yeah, the Nine States has not disappointed, much more hype than SXSW for me so far.

in other news, I've spent all my time over the last 2 months playing Cammy and Dudley, and somehow my Sakura got better, wtf lol. a little break to clear the autopilot really helps, especially when you spend most of your matches just exposing people's bad habits instead of playing at your own level. local league that I run has begun, and this year I get to play in it too instead of just organizing/coaching :D its a ft7 round robin format, we only had 12 people able to commit the time this year, down from 16 the last 2. quiet time of year for SF locally, so I might run another one in summer. all the matches should be recorded and uploaded, so if you guys wanna check out some edmonton players, i'll post some links later there is a bison player in the league that plays SO YOLO (and a gief and a hawk who are also total yolo), so watch me be stubborn and get donkeyed out xD that hawk player is currently 2-0 (+14), he has a good shot at winning the whole thing. i'm 0-0 because my first week opponent no-showed

Started with a buncha Kyabetsu OCVs (always fun to watch) and ended with Shinjuku Taito Station team (Shiro Abel, Nishikin Blanka, Inco Rufus, Itazan Zangief, Kyabetsu Viper) vs FGC (pepeday fuerte, michael-tan ken, pugera ibuki, dunhill sakura, and someone else i can't recall) Soooo many good matches. + Show Spoiler + Korea vs Korea finals: Infiltration vs Poongko. Most of the audience is pretty much gone by now. The tournament was running late, so Cameraman said the finals were ft3 (originally ft5), but Zhi asked what the players wanted and they agreed on ft5. Tension rises as the players continue and the organizers want it to end. "I say some awkward things... but if I feel awkward... it's awkward." - Zhi

His match against Itazan ( or Itabashi ? forgot which gief ) was an amazing showcase that Makoto can beat grapplers at their own game. I loved that. He should have won one game against Infil but dropped a combo at the end, sad face. Decapre too hard to pin down.
