This blog isn't for people that like/support Hillary Clinton. It isn't for people that like her less than another politician. This is for people that hate Hillary Clinton. Leave a comment and tell me why. Your reasons don't have to be 100% researched, or even coherent. Just, in your own words, why do you hate her? If you need to pull quotes and cite voting records to express your hatred for her, do so. If you hate parts of her platform, link to it. If your hatred is based more on gut-feeling, say it. If you dislike her for a shallow reason (she's old, a woman, Bill's wife, white, rich, etcetc), mention it. If you hate her because all your friends hate her, or because people in the media say she's divisive, or other external factors, let me know.
I was talking about the primaries with some friends today and I realized something-- they all hate Hillary. Not everyone hates Hillary, of course, but all my friends do. Even the ones that're on the fence about how they feel about her, over the course of our conversation, started saying meaner and meaner things about her. Very interesting to me. I wanted to pool the variety of things people dislike about her from a broader source, so I've come here to ask TL.netters about it.
Note: I'm not baiting. My support's going to Obama-- I just don't understand this vitriolic hatred of Hillary and if Hillary takes the nomination from Obama, I'm gonna be leaning towards voting for her, so I wanna know where this hatred is coming from. Thanks.

Gut feeling. She just don't seem that sincere to me. I suppose that could be said about every politician though, but with her it seems more apparent.

because she didnt' give bill any, and bill had to look for another pussy, and we all know what happened

she's a woman. I hate women.

This and the fact that our presidency would be bush-clinton-bush-clinton. nothx.

she's gotten so much money (just like Bill did) from shady characters to fund her campaign, and she's been called out on it dozens of times. i get the impression from her that she'll say whatever is necessary to sway someone's opinion in her favor. look at how her views on Iraq have changed over the years, haaaaar.
plus she looks more and more evil each time i see her.

While the actual policy differences between Hillary and Obama are insignificantly small and I'll happily vote for either in November, there are a number of less tangible factors that make Obama a far superior candidate in my opinion.
- Hillary comes across as whiny a lot.
- Obama is refusing lobbyist money; Hillary is taking it and has publicly and unapologetically said she will continue to do so and sees nothing wrong with it.
- Hillary is a very divisive figure in politics. People tend to either love or hate her. After 8 years of Bush, this country needs someone who will try to heal the rift between the right and the left, rather than perpetuate it.
- Somewhat related to the previous point, Hillary comes across as a sniveling politician. Obama comes across as an inspirational leader.
- Listening to Obama talk is exciting. Listening to Hillary talk makes me think about reaching for the mute button on my remote.
- Despite having similar positions on the Iraq war, Obama opposed it earlier than Hillary, and I get the sense he is more of a dove than she is overall.
So I guess you could call it more of a gut feeling in my case.

All of my friends hate Hillary too! And I have often asked them why, and hey too don't have very good reasons. The comparison with Margaret Thatcher may be ... inaccurate, but it would lead me to not like her anyway.
The obvious reason is Obama is black and it cooler to have a black than woman president.

Lol at vGI-CoW.
I hate her because she might win the nomination instead of Obama. In which case my gut feeling tells me that she will lose in the general election.
But really it's not that I hate her as much as I really love Obama. This needs to happen.

Because SHE plays the women card and Obama does not play the black card

Is this true?

Hillary will say/do anything to get the poll numbers she wants. Period.

i dont. she's manipulative and toughminded, these are pluses. the question is the old one, what's on her mind. judging from what she has said, she is not beyond at least giving lip service to great ideals of social reform etc, and my desire to see a crafty political operative of the left has made that image of hers believable. havent and will not do any research on this sort of stuff, useless.

Hilary went to Bilderburg Conference :\

As Hawk pointed out, if Clinton became president, we would have 2 families in the executive branch for at least 24 YEARS STRAIGHT. Definitely NOT what our founding fathers wanted.
I hate her BECAUSE she is manipulative. She's such a fucking politician. If you ever listen to her in any debates, she never actually ANSWERS any fucking questions that people give her. She always dodges them and tries to make up some no-answer bullshit. I fucking hate that. Once a debate moderator on the radio actually called her on it when she didn't answer what the one issue was she thought would be toughest (she made up some shit about "ooh there's so many issues but I'm giong to solve them all!) and came back to her saying "well everyone else has actually given definitive answer, so in fairness why don't you settle on one."
The New Hampshire debate... Obama and Edwards come off as very passionate people... Edwards rants about how his quest to right the wrongs of the country is personal. Clinton doesn't do that, instead extolling her experience (which she doesn't ACTUALLY have a lot of - she's only been in the Senate for like 8 years). Then, her piece of shit pollsters must have told her that people liked the others looking personal, because THE VERY NEXT DAY she's out there on a public campaign thing crying like a bitch. Is she crying because she had to? No, she's crying because her manipulators told her to look more human to voters. And the fucking idiots bought it.
I hate the people buying her bullshit almost as much as I hate her for bullshitting...
She also seems like she's trying to be extra tough because she wants to show she's man enough for the job or something, so she's promising to be all tough on the war and shit.. she's one of the ones who has sold out and backed up Bush to look good. Of course not lately, because people are against the war lately, so now she's trying to look more against the war. The bitch is a reed and just goes wherever the wind is, she doesn't have any damn opinions of her own.
Goddamnit.
Wow, that was actually therapeutic to get out. Thanks

She will do and say anything if it gets her votes. That and I don't care to have a Bush/Clinton/Bush/Clinton pattern. Tons more but I am too lazy to type tonight.
