Trust me I'm plagued with the same problem but I know that if I stop spending all my money on frivolous things, my life will be easier.

I could make it on a lot less (I pay for everything cept for rent. I still didn't get an apartment yet for a number of reasons) but at this point, I'm used to having enough that if I feel like spending a ton of money one weekend, I can. Hence me lookin for osmething around 400$/wk Outside of waiter/bartender, I haven't a fucking clue how I'd get that.

Anyway, I think the best thing to do would be to deal with your parents for now. Personally, I know I can't stand the things my parents make me do sometimes, but I consider it good experience for a better start in life. Just wait the year for that English degree; you only have a year right? Hell, I have to deal with my parents for I don't even know how long... Also, do whatever it takes to get rid of negative energy that comes from your current forced situation. I personally got myself a membership to a local gym, and it seriously does help. For now though, try to work things out with your parents and bear it until you get that degree.

Like I realllllllly want an aparment. But in the same hand, the housing market (nto to mention the economy) is taking a nose dive. I've got a ton of loot saved up, so really, in the long run, it would make more sense for me to bite the bullet for another year, get my degree, get paid and see if I can't get 10% between myself and my brother for a small house. Shortterm desire vs Longterm planning gwah. Jesus I need to smoke tonight.

This guy just came in and gave me a little plaque to put on the wall thanking me. I had wrote a couple stories about him and his son and their baseball team. They coach in a league for disabled children. We came, took pics, wrote a nice little story, etc. Dude always stops in to thank me and just bs and dropped this off today out of the blue. It's just a nice little reminder that the entire world isn't filled with shitbags.

Yea...in the business world, it's tough getting along without having the occasional happy-go-lucky person to stop by. I get those sometimes, and even made good acquaintence with a few customers. Especially...after that one incidence that I blogged about.
