Also Monte's rant about not liking the champion pillars was pretty silly :p Edit: Also I just realized ClearLove went back to his awesome name and ditched "Troll." Win. Papasmithy raised a pretty interesting point, OMG is still dominating with xiyang if they keep up like this when cool gets better will they just keep xiyang anyway. Probably because Heroes is less of a MOBA and more of an objective-based brawler. It doesn't conform to a lot of the standard MOBA settings, so it doesn't particularly overlap too much with DotA or LoL. Also it's a Blizzard game and while there may be some moaning about Blizz lately, there's still quite a bit of brand loyalty.

Yeah, Leopard messed up pretty bad there-- he probably though he only needed one auto or so and facechecked the bush while his stuff on was on CD. When Renek went offensive in his face, he panicked a bit too I think. Dying nullified a lot of his advantage, though I suppose you could say he was still ahead since Renek needs to win lane and get good farm to be where he wants midgame and he was already Tear + Cata (maybe RoA?) at that point. The Karthus not getting pen and stuff in Death Defied seems like a massive bug, and I'm kind of confused why there isn't a hatetrain/wagon for me to hop on about it.

They're gonna pick up Smite and Infinite Crisis before touching LoL.

Is anyone here even a Karthus main? I think that's probably why. Also surprised no one noticed for so damn long... lol.

I don't see any reason for tl to consider covering lol officially tbh, (unless they're just desperate for traffic lol :p) TL is great at being the central hub for a game, in broodwar and now sc2 it was THE site, and in dota (and i guess hearthstone lol) it came in and helped tie together a slightly fragmented community and gave a source of reliable articles, stream info, event previews (+ liquipedia) which the communities of those games were missing. LoL doesn't really need any of that, there are strong communities already on reddit and the general forums, where riot staff also participate in discussions. There are lots of sites which cover patch notes and things (reignofgamaing, surrender@20 etc) sites which cover the pro scene and do interviews, (ongamers, esportsheaven etc) a lot of pros do their own blogs/vlogs and event previews, there are tons of "how to play x" guides everywhere, and finally riot even does their own power rankings and things on LoLesports. I'd much rather have TL support a scene like smash or (if it turns out to be decent competitively) Heroes, where it will make a big difference, then throw a few more fish (however good those fish are) into the already super crowded pond that is LoL coverage.

By cover, I mean to form a team to play competitively. TL only have dota2, sc2, and melee team, they don't even have hearthstone yet although we all know that they will have eventually.

I know, and it's aweosme ^^, I just mean there isn't a need to put the same focus that they do onto sc2/dota2.hearthstone, because they don't need to be the "main"community for the game, as the game has plenty of other, healthy, hubs.

Yeah, our biggest struggle currently is we don't fill enough of a niche that those hubs don't already cover. We produce quality stuff but it's just lost in the noise. I think having some sort of official support (or having a sub site like Hearthstone) would help improve our legitimacy though. But then that opens the whole can or worms of people not wanting TL LoL to go to shit by having an influx of new posters so meh.

Ignoring the fact that any team they make is going to have to grind its way up through the Challenger scene, who's left unassociated and can Liquid make sure that the players will stay? With SC2 and DotA, people moving teams is fairly few and far between from what I understand, but in LoL roster changes happen like once a season if not more for some teams. If I was in charge of TL's eSports department I wouldn't touch that with a 10.5 foot pole.

Ye but then we can go "I liked TL LoL before it went mainstream" and who doesn't want hipster rights, we already specialise in doing that for champions why not our entire subforum.

Request a lane swap. Zone teemo out of all CS. Once lane is pushed up, 3-man dive the teemo under tower. Rinse and repeat until Teemo quits.
