Wukong's strength is that he's like a Shaco til level 6 where he becomes a Pantheon that catches a team instead of catching one player. Nocturne was my s3 main and Wukong is my s4 and I feel that they're both strong (used Wukong/Wukong/Nocturne to promo to plat earlier this month) and now that damage junglers are a thing again they're both gonna be played quite a bit but in terms of strictly initiation, Wukong does it waaaaaaaaaay better and is a lot harder to play against. Counterganks are another thing but if you are a good jungler you will be in the right spot and Noc ult doesn't help as much against a player with perfect jungle sense as it does against scrublords with no sense of timing. This applies to Pantheon too, if you're good at predicting jumps you can actually counter him pretty easily. The hard part is that a lot of the time in solo queue you have people who don't have an intuitive sense of jungle timings and they'll just derp into jumps over and over and there's not much you can do about it. Oh sorry I was speaking about Pantheon Pro play. Last week on LCS people were saying/playing Nocturne as a "counter" to panth. So was wondering about it.

I ASKED HOW SEJUANI IS BY HERSELF, NOT asking for a comparison of mummy vs Sej lol. I assume that's impossible in this thread however, so forget it.

Dunno, i don't think I'll ever come back honestly. The way this game is circle jerking is just too damn confusing.

Oh I see, I thought you were talking about Wukong, who's really a much larger problem atm lol Pretty sure he's the strongest jungler at the moment, although Vi is more consistent

Then people realised that all this time he absolutely crushed squishy mids (including several of those AD that were sent there too) but right after AD casters/bruisers started being sent mid people realised Jayce and Kha'Zix were so damn broken they eclipsed all of them so back to the dark corner for monkey. Jungle changes made his clear less painful, not having to be able to gank and camp from level 2 onwards (or buff to buff level 3) helped his meh early levels, and generally higher xpm helped his "farm till 6" status. What makes him that broken, then? His jungling doesn't seem that strong. Is it that Wukong in general is an extremely strong teamfighter post-6 (and especially post-11, when he gets a big base damage increase on his ult and probably has some AD to use the scaling), and it just so happens that the jungle is the only viable role for him at a high-level in the current meta?

I want to say Lee is up there too but only if you are a top-tier pro jungler, otherwise he is definitely not top tier. Olaf is close to top tier but he's harder than all of those/more situational On March 04 2014 01:57 Alaric wrote:What makes him that broken, then? His jungling doesn't seem that strong. He is probably the best scaling lategame bruiser and in soloq 99% of junglers have no idea to how shut down enemy junglers. He snowballs pretty hard too due to his great AD ratios, not to mention having a 30% shred on his basic ability. Combine that with being pretty easy to play, and you have a formula for being "op"

It also helps that with just SotEL and brutalizer he can 100-0 an ADC all the way til lategame. The knock up utility is also very strong, especially if you don't suck with it.

All I ask from you is to not ragequit and expect me to only play nocturne. I was gold 2 last season and I am gold 2 now, in case that matters. Add me if you are interested 'bad riven bot'.
