Really glad Taeja Innovation is number 1. Skill wise that game has been BY FAR the highest level play from both sides we have seen. Both players were just so on top of everything. Bomber Scarlett was nice and all but was more just that one moment. Tajea Innovation was what great SC is truly like.

Totally agree with Innovation v. Taeja for the #1 game of 2013. Of all the SC2 games I've watched, I remember that game distinctively and being at the edge of my seat the whole time.

Awesome writeup agreed with nearly all the games and their rankings, I still can't believe that I have nearly seen all of the games on the list and that I could fondly remember almost each and every one of them while reading trough the article.

I am happy to see Taeja vs Innovation indeed made it to NR1, well deserved, the greatest game of SC2 I have seen all year, right up there with DRG and MMA in terms of back and forth action and display of skill.

The only game I am surprised is completely absent from the list is Mvp vs Dimaga on Newkirk from the WCS EU season 1 RO8. That was such an impressive display of skill from Mvp to survive in the face of such odds where, after the initial engagements his supply could never go past 130 mark, and yet he still held against all the tech switches.

lol u guys forgot the most dramaticly game of the year.. Life vs Parting with the early pool by Life and the strong hold by parting (probably because of the critizined lower game speed) .. it was in the group of death in gsl too

though...unlike last year I totally disagree with quite a few of these and a fair number are missing. #1 choice is also overrated imo. Finest display of sc2 skill? Please. Granted I dunno what I'd rank as #1 myself, but I know it has to be a ZvT.

I mean where was Symbol vs Jjakji on Frost (HSC VIII 3rd place match)? Jaedong vs MMA on Derelict (WCS s3 finals)?

Glad someone had the good sense to put First vs Keen in the top 5 though. THAT was the best TvP of the year. Dear vs Maru? pfft.

hmmm interesting ranking, thought supernova vs inno would be waaaay closer to the top. found this game waay more exciting than place 22. but oh well, everyone has his own opinion. thx for the write up, have the most games in my head especially the hasuobs game vs grubby crazy crazy game as well.

Inno produces such amazing games

and people thinking Scarlett vs Bomber should be nr1 LOL its good but shouldnt even be top 5 imo.
Taeja vs INnoVation was just amazing easily best game 2013 and I was there to watch it live
