For starters you have to remember this is blizzcon, ro8 and everybody (well most) said Dear was going to 3-0 jaedong ez pz. So Jaedong ties the series up (after being down 2-1) and then in the 5th game crushes that all in when the protoss army walked over burrowed units and got crushed. I remember watching it and the excitement of that game was crazy. That's why it's so popular. If you didn't watch it live, nor care really about either of the players then you probably won't understand. | ||

I don't know--I understand what you're saying but to me it's still just "It was awesome that Jaedong won that series,"--no matter how cool you think that was, the GAME ITSELF was pretty uninteresting, and while the series was certainly important, it wasn't even a tournament finals. I guess if Jaedong had won Blizzcon the new "best" game in the eyes of many would now be whichever game he closed it out with, even if it was a 6-pool. Anyway, I'm not trying to be a buzzkill and am happy so many people found that series so exciting, I guess it just seems like people are voting for the "most important game for their favorite player" rather than the actual "best game." | ||
