This list of the best games is a joke. How comes that none of Naniwa's games is on the list? NONE?
Possibly because of his tendency to all in the only good players he plays against... or mass void ray turtling. Neither of which is the kind of stuff you'd expect to see on a "Best Games of 2013" list, right?
This. I always thought I'd be a grumpy naniwa-antifan whose arguments are not recognized by anyone. But DarkLordOlli is with me! As a Scarlett fan, I don't agree with that match vs. Bomber on #2. I think Maru vs. Dear games were much higher in terms of quality. But hey, I'm a Scarlett fan
Innovation threw the game by not making any anti air thus letting taeja drop marauders on his tanks over and over again. This was so frustrating to watch i don't think it deserves this spot. Good ranking though

You're not the only one surprised here.
Even as an extreme Naniwa fan, a lot of his games admittedly had their entertainment value super-charged by the story line. Granted, there were also a few amazing games where Naniwa showed how he's the most clutch player in the world, but he also demonstrated how he's capable of some pretty major mistakes in those games as well. I guess overall it's a matter of opinion.
Those casters were damn good, though. They managed to be funny long past the point they had any right to be funny.
Nah, I saw it live and I don't regret a thing! Though I confess, I did lots of other stuff at the same time... We need mammoth moments once in a while and this was certainly it in 2013.

You know, I realize that we overuse many terms in this community. One of which is the term "throw". Nowadays, I notice people don't always draw the distinction between a "mistake" and a "throw".
A throw is when Tefel lets Mvp get back into the game despite being on less than 10 workers and half a mining base. A throw is when Innovation lets Mvp make a comeback after being down 9 workers to 30+.
What you are calling a throw is merely a mistake. Both sides made several mistakes, which made this game so exciting and crazy.

Man how is that Maru vs Dear game only 27? That game was incredible.. and the stakes couldn't be higher. So back and forth, there were epic holds, great drop defense, great aggression, pretty much anything you could ever want in a game. And the players were high profile... this is baffling. But great list otherwise :D so much fun going back and watching some of these incredible games.

And such an extreme amount of TvZ's in this list... there's like 2 PvP's lol. Terran just dominating this list especially in the top10, not so sure I agree with that but whatyagunado.
