Pretty lame if you ask me, no team rivalries what so ever. The truth is that most people commenting on this never were into BW PL and don't understand the glory that once was. It probably has a lot to do with how there was little emphasis on team leagues throughout the history of sc2, so the people who pretty much only followed sc2 focus more on the individual results and pick favorite players from that rather than a team.

There also seem to be a lot more opportunities for individual players to show off their skills.

Seriously the only thing that can stop them are Problems, if Players get mad because they feel like they need to play more.

I never watched much GSTL and only some PL(whatever I could with the time it was on) but much more individual tournaments whether GSL, OSL or WCS.

Plus players who are excellent in teamleagues and have trouble in individual events are not really respected, such as Yonghwa, Sniper (before he won GSL), Super.

Well, not always. Players like MMA and DRG became popular from GSTL success, and Gumiho was pretty popular despite never being particularly successful in individual leagues.

Still happy that the most valueable players were able to find new teams. SKT holding strong! Also nice additions for T8/Green Wings.
