Starcraft is all about physically doing everything at the same time, so don't feel cheated when there aren't shortcuts and help features. If you don't want to play it, nobody will force you, but don't come to a starcraft community and explain how it's no good. It's an un-winnable argument. exceptionally well written

Then, I tried War3, got a little interested. Realized everything was weirder, and there were a crapload of spells and "heros" and no need to make workers. I just decided to stick with Starcraft. I can understand that you came from War3 to Starcraft and everything feels out of place, but imagine if you went from Starcraft to war3. It's like removing a chunk of your brain :/

ohje, I recognize you from schroet.com and wc3l.de and I know you've been in the WC3 community for a while. The two games are world apart and SC is obviously far more rigorous than WC. For a person reverting back to SC from WC (reverting in a chronologically sense), SC will definitely be harder to play since there is so much more to do. Most of your opinions are simply made in ignorance from not being familiar with the game. SC and WC are two different games, both require a different set of skills. Right now, you just aren't used to the change. If SC does intrigue you, keep on practicing. Just be aware that it might take a while to get even remotely comfortable with the game.
