The only game he dropped to Illusion was a 2 rax cheese in the first game. But he is virtually unopposed in this cup in terms of macro/micro. Happy for Polt but sad in that it really shows the huge skill disparity in America.

Polt's WCS NA group just came out, and it sure is a doozy. Polt is facing HyuN, Sage and Revival in the group of death this season. Liking Polt's odds in this group, and I suspect he will advance first, but with university coming up, I hope his practice schedule isn't interfered with because of his studies. These three players aren't pushovers and have all taken games or series off of Polt, so he has to take caution with this.

Despite the Internet issues and having to play against Revival and Sage not at his best, Polt definitely impressed me today. Last game against Sage just reminded me why Polt is such a great TvP'er.

Polt's WCS Ro16 group got announced today, with him facing ByuL, HuK and Apocalypse. Should be a first placement for Polt cause I don't see anyone in his group defeating Polt unless he comes very unprepared.

Sadly, Polt has to forfeit his spot in IEM New York for currently unidentified reasons. I was expecting more greatness from Polt to compensate for IEM Shanghai, but I suppose he has his reasons, from school or just simply not feeling prepared. Ah well, as long as he performs well at WCS NA Ro16 and Blizzcon, it will be all worth it.
