The Raptors record the final 59 games of the season was 30-29 their best players are very young and are either going to stay the same or get better. you can, through various coaching decisions, take a 25 win team and make it a 15 win team and finish dead last. you can not take a team that will probably win 40 games and turn it into a 15 win team. So the Raptors can not "tank" in 2013-2014.

But, yeah, they cannot tank with the roster they currently have--too much talent there.

I don't think it's worth it for a young team.

Sacre's there to practise with Dwight and Meeks is awful but why not for only $1.5 mill? He'll be an expiring and will help the tank job if they do lose Dwight.

Riley said today that were going to be pretty quiet this offseason though did say he'd "explore" Greg Oden. He also said that he's not overly concerned about their size, or lack thereof.

If they would "explore" Oden then you best believe they would damn-well "explore" all the other big guys that, you know, actually have 2 legs and are willing to come at the right price.

He definitely wouldn't admit it even if he really was concerned. Isn't that kind of his implicit point - not a lot of money to play with, not a lot of big men that will come on the cheap. Mostly explains why he even mentions Oden. I don't see them adding a big.
