So in two years they have done a deal with TT eSports and a deal with IBUYPOWER.. amazing stuff here from eMG.

Good to see IdrA find a good spot so quickly after his release. After looking at the site, seems they will be able to provide good support for him and I hope to see more of him in the future.
Good luck and congrats sir Fields !

the term "esports personality" still sounds kind of weird

Well that was fast. The fanbase of IdrA is just too hard not to take advantage of.

If you don't understand it then why are you arguing that eMG probably shouldn't be in the esports business?

I think he'd serve himself better just going back to school. This just feels like a downgrade for him. But then, it seems to be working for Axslav.

Good for IdrA, hope he sticks around.

Awesome, hope good things come from IdrA and eMG!

If you don't understand it then why are you arguing that eMG probably shouldn't be in the esports business? Lol, I said "I don't know if X" and suddenly I'm arguing "not X". I think you can understand from my posts that I'm not sure of anything on that matter and that I know I'm not in a position to argue anything. I didn't pretend that eMG shouldn't be whatever they want to be, I just wondered if they can be.
Edit: And the "LOL you know nothing about business so shut up noob" is all well and good, I get it, but it doesn't make the situation clearer. At least Plansix said that they could very well be doing this part time, which sounds to me reasonable and what I would have expected.

Wasn't emg what Nick did early one or help with at one point? (Nick being Tasteless).

I like how they call him Fields.
Mr Fields how was that canon rush tactic u experienced last game????

|
'gratz to IdrA! Looking forward to great stuff from him/eMG.

Not really. They have a lot of the personalities locked up bud.

"While that makes sense to me for movie stars, eMG's clients are far from having the same scale of shit to manage. They may be the most star-like in eSports(TM), but I don't know if eMG's existence is really warranted yet.
Looking at some numbers: they're 5 guys to manage 13 clients. Their clients don't earn millions though, they earn pretty average salaries (very high for Starcraft 2 maybe, but still reasonably average for your everyday life). How much does Tasteless make? I doubt he makes enough to pay a huge sum back to eMG right? And they got only 13 clients like this, with as many as 5(!) guys dealing with their business. Something doesn't add up here. I like Tasteless and he's awesome, but motherfucking agents, to manage his Code S and World of Tanks casting, really?"
Clearly you're doing more than wondering aloud right there. Don't pretend otherwise. But I'm glad you're backpedaling anyway, lest the community keep pretending that it understands business and should draw conclusions from that understanding.
BTW, the owners of eMG work primarily as agents for professional poker players.

Congrats. Maybe its just me but he's seemed to be much more relaxed after the release... best of luck.

Wow, nice. Tasteless, artosis, whitera and now Idra

Is it a Burger restaurant? Flippin' dem burgers like a champ, and no GG to clients?
|
Who is this dude, does he even currently play?
|
I thought he hated SC2... Why is he still doing this?
Regardless, best of luck to them both.
