Good luck to IdrA and eMG!

That sentence you bolded definitely has meaning, and says something. Do you want them to be more specific? That would require even more words.

Regardless, best of luck to them both.
Beats having a 9-5 real job or going to school.
He has stated hundreds of times throughout SC2 he is only in it for the money, and thought the game was trash since its debut in comparison to BW.
Now he is going to live the dream...
get paid to sit at home and play video games. And now he doesnt even have to be competitive like he used to. Results and showings dont exist so he doesnt have to stress about how good he actually is.
Nothing has changed for him, except now he gets paid to sit at home and play video games without having to stress at a competition about winning.
Edit: It is pretty funny that he is now one of those "personalities" he used to talk so much shit on.

Good luck to both Idra and EMG!

It doesn't actually say anything. It's just a bunch of corporate buzzwords.

Yeah I think it was talked about on SotG or ITG that basically it lets the personality do his own thing without worrying about scarmbling around for gigs and sponsorships. Much easier letting someone else do all the legwork setting up the deals and then just signing them.

I always see these announcements "XX has joined eMG", but I don't understand what they do in reality. Yeah, I get the concept, but have they done anything or do we just not hear anything about their work?
|
They would in theory find sponsors and endorsement opportunities for their individual clients and I imagine as a service even to teams since not every team has the talent or inclination to find sponsors as well as say, EG.
In reality they appear to do absolutely nothing

GG idrA, I hope he will be happy <3

Please...
"Management agreement for worldwide management"
Explain to me what the difference between "management agreement" and "agreement" is
Does the sponsor or the player have the capability to conduct "worldwide management" to begin with beyond the Internet?
"Marketing representation across all major platforms..." = "Idra promotes us over the Internet"
"including sponsorship and licensing" = "We pay him in order to make money off of him"
A lot of empty buzzwords just to say "agreement for eMG to sponsor Idra who'll then promote eMG". Once you've read enough press releases, promotions, and marketing, you'll start to notice the difference between solid and mature statements to empty amateurish statements like this one. It's just a way for a small group that no one's every heard of to sound big and important to people who have no clue; also to attract more sponsors who have no clue either.

Damn great for you Idra!!! Gonna be great, his casting during the ShoutCraft was incredible, and he knows so much about the game its great to have him as a personality now. GL!!
|
Wastes NO time lol
GL to IdrA, I hope it was a sobering experience for him ^_^
|
No surprise there, he said on real talk that he wouldn't be letting EG be his agency. There was really only one logical conclusion to that; he'd join the same agency Artosis, Tasteless and many other old boys work with.
|
Atleast he's not playing LoL.
|
I hope that "eSports personality" really means "part-time caster." IdrA is one of the very best casters out there in terms of game knowledge. Every time he opens his mouth he showers us in knowledge bombs.
|
Feel kind of iffy about this. I took a glance at their website. It's pretty apparent whoever designed it took like 5 minutes to do so because its wrought with typos and mistakes (ie: benifit, compliment instead of complement.)
Amateur stuff like this may not really be luring more people towards esports :|
