I hope he finds his place though, and a return to competitive SC2 is never out of the question I guess.

Yes he can be the best analytical caster in the world, but I think equally important is to be able to create hype and enthusiasm, which is the pretty much opposite of what Idra is known for. If he goes on to cast major tournaments anyway, he probably won't be able to showcase his personality like he could as a player either. Creating hype and enthusiasm is the job of his would be co-caster It really doesn't work like that though, notice how all the respected analytical casters (Artosis, Wolf, Apollo, Bitterdam) are fully capable of also creating exciting commentary and hyping up games. I can't think of anyone who would be comparable to Idra and his very "dry" style of casting. So unless he can carve out his own niche or really develop his style, Idras casting isn't really comparable to the best of them. Of course Idra also has the reputation of being one of the biggest players in SC2, which will definitely help him a lot. It is very hard to predict where he will end up, but I still doubt him becoming the main caster of a major tournament.

IdrA has already carved out his own niche, every time he casts theres tons of positive feedback from people who love his casting

It's true the caster market is pretty full and he couldn't expect to get to the GSL where the casters are really established, but personally I would love to see him at every other event there is. considering IdrAs large fanbase and that alot of people love his casting i can see him getting called by alot of events hes really already one of the best casters
