I like Idra, but EG did what they had to do. It's not like this is the first or only incident. EG had to. Forced by the sponsors. Like Idra said, he doesn't really mean the nasty stuff he says after losing, it's just rage. Idra always rages, sponsors were aware of that. They could have chosen to ignore it and don't make a fuss about it. Instead they forced EG to kick him. I don't like them forcing their oversensitive political correctness upon the community at all.

Lowering the standards when it comes to manners is not the way for Sc2 or any e-sport to become prime time ready. Some smack talk is great and all, but IdrA's - especially in the later stages - was just plain pathetic and got stale. Sure it was still funny cuz it was IdrA. but who in their right mind needs something like this at a Dreamhack for example? I think it's great he changes his occupation within the e-sports community. This way he won't have to rely on such antics and can shine purely on his skills which he definitely has.

Motivation ist at ~5% now. Hopefully it`ll get better after the initial shock. (ok it was kinda expected that he`ll quit prro gaming..) But after all great Interview. I`ll subscribe the shit out of your Stream. Do a crowdfounding for a IdrA Invitational, sell "Team Idra" Shirts, start singing or whatever. YOU ROCK!

Hope to see him continuing Starcraft 2 competitively somewhere in the future, IdrA was my inspiration to play Zerg and pick up certain builds. I think he'd do pretty well competitively (Perhaps even better) now in my opinion, seeing that the stress of having to win tournaments for a team is an issue of the past, at least for now.

I feel anyone who actually mails sponsors, instead of the actual team, are bad, bad, bad, bad people for the community. If you have a problem with a player or whatnot, you tell team management. You DON'T email sponsors, that's just fucking stupid and hurts everyone instead of fixing a problem. A problem that's more subjective than anything else really.

I would love to see him get back in shape again. Such a loss to the foreign Zerg community. ![]()
