I think girls who think this kinda stuff is real, and set those high expectations are ridiculous and need to get a good slap in the face. anyways this is coming from someone who is hopelessly obsessed with Kdramas and honestly asian dramas in general, so I completely understand what you are saying, and agree that they can mess with girls heads lol especially those extremists like your friends. But hey, be glad they aren't saijin fans or you'd be in a load of trouble. BTW if you haven't I suggest checking out some dramas, because honestly they are really good, and I personally prefer them to many of the North American shows we have (especially lately, as our shows seem to be getting worse and worse lol) how do 1posters always seem to necro the oldest threads. google searches?

Now everyone wants to listen to Kpop watch Kdramas, eat korean food and wear hanboks. Maybe in 10 years everybody will be obsessed with another country. But seriously though, I don't see any problem to that. I can't enter a relationship if it doesn't involve a multi race war, my love dying and reborn as queen of savage blood hungry beasts and me having sex in a ridiculously large space marine suit. I still eat sushi, watch anime and want to visit japan T_T
