Your body will be forced to remove calcium from your bones in order to neutralize the acidity, which roughly compensates for the intake of new calcium.
Also, milk contains animal based protein which is generally not as good for you as plant based protein. Regardless, I still drink it from time to time. I just don't know if it's actually that good for you or if we are just brainwashed by whatever lobbies support milk sales.
Your stomach is lined with cells that constantly produce bicarbonate ions to protect your stomach from its own acid. I think they can handle some slightly acidic milk.
Whole milk is by far the best milk. I one time had this disgusting powdered milk that you add water to and it was traumatizing.

They want to start adding aspertame to milk, unlabeled.
So milk + aspertame = milk

I'm so happy that Japan has some of the most tasty milk I've had. Whole milk from Hokkaido = YUM!

Definitely, the milk here is amazing, I am glad someone else agrees!

I recently started drinking about 2 liters per day (1/2 gallon). It's awesome. And it's also almost the only way I'm able to get enough calories per day so I dont lose weight

It's even better with chocolate in it, and coffee. 4 glasses a day <3
I cannot stand plain milk though...

More specifically they are trying to add aspartame to the milk as a sweetening agent for kids, and at the same time are asking to NOT put aspartame on the label so milk can still look healthy. I dunno about anyone else, but aspartame is soo terrible for you, it would single handedly stop me from drinking milk ever again if it passed.
Aspartame is no problem at all. Not a single concern. You cannot drink enough as a human being to get a problem with it. If you "drink" as much, its called drowning
Same myth by the way goes for protein. High protein is good and healthy, there's not really too much if you don't unnaturally force you to take "TOO MUCH" aka a total overkill. Even the groups that are said to be more affected by it (obesity etc) have positive blood-effects/other effects from lot of protein compared to little.
A "harmful" dosis of aspartam would be 7L of diet soda .. and seriously, who drinks 7L of diet soda, has a problem to begin with (every day)

yeah, now i have to drink some nice milk

His point was that it would be unlabeled. Milk sweetened with aspartame is not just "milk".

Loooove milk ♥ I drink anywhere between a half and a full gallon each day. That cold, creamy taste on your lips, as it travels down your throat... mmm...

A gallon is 3.8L ?! How can you drink that much milk ? I could hardly drink that much water.

I used to drink a gallon of chocolate milk each day all through high school. It was pretty awesome. Too bad I couldn't afford to spend $150 on milk every month when I got to university.
